Excellent service!. I just dropped the kids to school and had trouble with my front door lock-ugh. I called Artie's Hardware & Locksmith they came within an hour of my call. He was professional and courteous. I will definitely use this locksmith in the future. Thanks Artie's Hardware & Locksmith!

Best locksmith in NYC. Artie's Hardware & Locksmith provides excellent service. He called when he said he would call, came when he said he would come, installed the lock for the price he promised, and did excellent quick work in the process. I definitely will use him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a locksmith.

Arties is the best!. The locksmith from Artie's Hardware & Locksmith was super-friendly -- a perfect antidote to the treachery of being locked out of my apartment. He was over in 15 minutes on a Saturday night! and made quick work of the lock-out. Plus he has awesome wheels. Thanks Artie's Hardware & Locksmith! I will highly recommend you!

Immediate service anywhere in NYC!. I been a customer of Arties Hardware & Locksmith for years. Not only have they done my lock and security installations but they also bailed me out a few times when I was locked out of my car. They can go to you all over NYC to help you out. I locked myself out of my car this past weekend in Queens and Arties came out right away. Program their number in your phone because they are the only locksmith you need to call for the service.

Get neighborhood store!. I love Arties Hardware & Locksmith! This store has everything for your home repairs and upgrades! The workers are experienced and they are very knowledgeable about fixing things around the house. I go to Arties Hardware & Locksmith for home improvement supplies and tools. Great store!

I love this store!. Arties Hardware & Locksmith has everything in their store from a simple screw driver to power tools to garden tools. They also provide great advice for all your home improvement questions. Very knowledgeable staff and great products. I also used their locksmith service and they are great as well. Not pricey and very reliable. Good people. Keep up the good work!

The greatest locksmith in NYC!. I was locked out this weekend after a crazy night out with some friends. I realized that I left my keys inside my apartment when I got home so I did a search on my phone and found Arties Hardware & Locksmith. Even though it was really early in the morning the customer service and the locksmith technician that came over were very attentive and very professional. You can count on this locksmith to get you out of a jam!

Rude, overpriced, sloppy.... want more?. Locksmiths have you at their mercy. You're stuck -usually in a hurry- outside your home. This company -which seems to operate under several aliases btw- came out once to install a second lock, and replaced the original one instead, without a cover or a lock plate. Then a second time, with a truly incompetent worker, who ruined the first lock and hacked up the apt door as well. Both times we were overcharged, and subsequent calls to 'Arties' to discuss their service were met with rudeness, stalling tactics and hang -ups. They seem to write their own reviews on this and other sites.....

Always Reliable, I trust Arties.
I have used Arties for years and have always felt they do a great job. I don't know tons about fixing things but am sensitive to being oversold and men using complicated language to confuse and oversell to a woman. They never do this and recommend cheaper & easier ways to fix things than I imagined. Recently I used them to break open some old file cabinets in an office I rented. They explained to me that they weren't breaking open the file cabinets but just the lock and if I ever wanted to replace it.
p.s. some of the cashiers are a bit crabby, but fix it people are great.
