WOW. I was so happy to learn i can buy high length boots!! I am pleasantly plump and I could never but higher length boots because my calfs were thicker than average but Minas has altered and or stretched boots I have bought according to my measurements. I have also had several shoes repaired here and they have done a fantastic job saving my loved ones! Highly reccomended for any kind of leather repair . Very friendly and this guy knows what he is doing.

First Rate, Professional, and Very Talented Cobbler--HIGHLY Recommended. One could spend a lifetime in search of a cobbler and never find one as good as Mina. For over 50 years he has studied and practiced shoe design, repair, and construction. If you are experiencing a pain in a certain part of your foot when wearing your favorite 4-inch stilettos, he not only can tell you why you are experiencing such pain, but can then reconstruct the shoe in such a way that those stilettos will feel like running sneakers. More importantly, he knows all of the top labels and how each house manufactures their shoes--Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Jimmy Choo---you name it, and he knows it, inside and out. They say that a sailor knows the face of his lover like he knows the open seas; Minas knows shoes like a sailor knows the seas.

Mina has also done a lot of leather repair and restoration for me. In fact, he completely reconditioned my Hermes Birkin bag and redid the gold palladium finishings such that the bag literally looked brand new! I couldn't believe it! Then I took in a Chanel bag that I inherited which was on its last leg and I was thinking of throwing out. He completely redid the signature chain and leather handle and reconditioned the entire bag to the point where I probably could have sold it in a consignment store for like-new condition. I didn't, because I like the bag so much now that I simply can't part with it.

Models come from Europe to have their leather work done by him; Wall Street executives know him by first name, and celebrities and debutantes alike stand better because of Mina's excellence and immense talent.

Minas brings the life back to ANY shoes.... Minas are experts when it comes to shoe repair. I have taken shoes there which I have had for years which I simply love and they are able to work magic to restore them. I took in a pair of beaded silk espadrilles with hand woven straw rope soles which I purchased on Rodeo Drive. The shoes had since been discontinued, thus I could not simply replace them with a new pair. The silk was ripped on the sides and the soles were in disaray. Minas secured the sides with a snazzy leather strip and added a sole which protected the straw. They look amazing!! Why didn't the original designer think to do this!!!

They are the best!

Best shoe repair in Manhattan!. #1 shoe repair in NYC!!!! I've lived in NYC for 5 years now, and the years of walking on pavement has taken its toll on my beloved Stuart Weitzmans and Pradas. They have honestly performed magic on my shoes and brought them back to life! Pairs that I thought I would have to throw out have been resoled, recolored to match the hard to match avocado or ballet slipper shades, dents taken out of the point toe tip and now look brand new! The owners and staff are extremely friendly and they charge a fair price! Since I've started going here, I've brought them 10 pairs of shoes! They are the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

THE place to get your shoes repaired!!. This place is the Best!!!! They have replaced several heels on my Louboutins, Manolos and others... It's great because they have the actual heels from these stores so my shoes look like they never broke. And I have to mention that my dog loves eating my shoes and Minas the owner has worked magic!! I highly reccomend this place for any kind of leather repair they really do an outstanding job!
