Great lunch escape. Many of my co-workers come here for lunch and drinks. I had their meatloaf sandwich one and it was delicious! It's a great escape from the workday and boring delis in the Financial District.

Great After Work Drinks. This place is the perfect place to grab a drink after work. I have a standing "appointment" with a friend for Friday drinks, and we usually end up here. The crowd is great, not your usual Financial District crowd, and the low-key atmosphere is a perfect way to relax at the end of the week. My one complaint would be that it seems to be getting very popular, so it is often hard to get a seat.

Late night haven. I live down in the seaport and love all of the restaurants and bars down here. Fresh Salt is the go-to for late night drinks, staying open till 4am every night! The food selection is limited but great and the bartenders are friendly.

Its a great place to meet friends, hang out after work, or get a night cap.

Its also great to see people occasionally in there with their dogs. One, a furry white one, even sits at the bar occasionally.

Fresh Food (as well). Don't forget the food! It's a limited menu, but it's always good and fresh. Soups, sandwiches, salads, chocolate cookies, all kitchen cookies, did I mention chocolate cookies!

Best kept secret in the Seaport!. I've been to Fresh Salt a bunch of times and I love it more and more each time I return! My friends and I go for a couple of reasons: their amazing happy hour drink specials and friendly bartenders. The space is small and intimate and always attracts an interesting crowd. Located in the South Street Seaport area, it's off the main tourist section and luckily attracts none of the Abercromie or Gap shoppers. It's pretty much one of the best kept secrets in the financial district. Definitely recommended. Go on a night when Sara is bartending, she's great!
