Melt in your mouth Ramen

The Ramen here is delicious and completely authentic. I always come here when i crave comfort food. This place is always filled with Japanese patrons which is a sign that they mean business when it comes to the art of making Ramen.
- Pros: great food.
- Cons: small space
Very good place for noddles

Their ramen is so delicious. We have been there many times and never disappoints. Especially perfect for a cold winter. The place is a little bit run down and is tiny for its customers but the food is worth it. Simple, basic but good food.
- Pros: noddles, quick service`
Great broth and pork, noodles are special, thicker kind of ramen.

This is real authentic ramen. The pork is always perfect, and the variety of choices is great. I live very close to minca and i used to eat there almost once a week. I have to say that the quality of the broth varies depending on who is cooking. And that I do not really like the kind of noodles they use, they are too thick for me. This is a very special type of ramen, and it is not like what you get at most japanese ramen shops. That being said, it's perhaps one of two or three places in new york that actually make decent ramen. So if you really like this kind of food, it definately a "MUST GO" kind of place. I reccomend the "Shoyu Ramen," but ask for the "thinner noodles" that come with the "Minca Ramen" if you don't want the thick noodles they normally use. Also, the "Daikon Salad" is amazing, and the gyoza is out-of-this-world.
- Pros: Great food, great service, very authentic
- Cons: quality of broth is sometimes erratic, but better than most in NY
