“The staff was very friendly, helpful and most important, fun!”
“Great service and the GREATEST cars on earth!”
“Since I have automotive A.D.D., I love it, nearly a million dollars of cars experienced in one day.”
Read the reviews and google the news (Gotham Dream Cars and Ferrari) The owners 19 yr old brother killed an innocent motorcyclist when they were racing on public streets before the event. These morons widowed a father of 2. Don't give them your money show America that companies that have no respect for human life don't stay in business.
Don't waste your money. I purchased a groupon for a dream car sprint in Philadelphia for my finacee. The grouopn said it would be for 3 laps around a racetrack...a racetrack???? More like some stupid cones set up in a tiny section of a parking lot....wasnt enjoyable to him the way he'd want it to be bc you can barely get the car to go over 70-bc the course is so tiny and there are mostly turns. 3 laps he said was NO WAY enough to enjoy it. He said the first lap you have to go slow...the second you get a little better and by the third when youre actually confident- it's over! We paid $99 for the groupon, then an additional $75 when we got there so he can drive the nicer car and then an $25 for an in car video of the experience. I gave it 2 stars bc he was was still very pleased with the oppurtunity to get inside and drive a lamborghini...little does he know how much those 3 measley laps cost us!...besides a 2 hour to Philadelphia!
Dream Car Sprint- Cancelled as someone killed. So on my way to my 8 appointment it was cancelled and Gotham will not speak about, however it turns out the dumb CEOs brother Ferreti and some 19 year old rookie where racing the Ferrari's through the meadowlands lot , they lost control and killed an innocent person on the opposite side of the highway. i am quite pissed at Gotham because the experience was a completely sham from what I have heard from customers because its in a parking lot with customers just standing out in the open and no regard for human life. Gotham dream cars is going to get sued and now they are disabling everyone from posting because they dont have the balls to say the killed someone. just go online and look up Rob Ferrerti super speeders and see his blatant disregard for the law, i burned and copied one of his podcast where he talks about his license been suspended, how he met Noah their so called CEO, and how he speeds and evades the law....these guys think its fun to horse around and now someone is killed, and all they say when you call the office is no it was not a customer that was killed, so what you killed someone by been reckless you owe it to us the customers to tell us the truth and hopefully you wont risk anymore lives with immature kids in parking lots. how do you have a 19 year old driving when you need to be 25 to rent, how do you not have motorsports insurance or barracdes while customers hang out in the parking lots, how can you continue to put the lives of innocent people at risk and take no accountability for your actions.
Gotham Nightmare......
I could not post this on google reviews because Gotham appears to have disallowed new reviews, so I'll post it here.
@paco - they cancelled your event because two of their inexperienced, (one underage) employees were drag racing and murdered an innocent man (father of two, husband to a lovely woman, on mothers day) on a motorcycle.
google "gotham dream cars crash" and you'll see...
Beware. This company'll be bankrupt in a few months.
Paco ? - today
They cancelled the event 4 hours before it was scheduled, on a beautiful sunny day with no explanation. Don't waste your time. I scheduled my slot 3 months in advance. Now there are no slots left on the weekends.
one of the best days of my life!!. Guys, my Dream Car Sprint on March 15th ranked in the top 5 best moments of my life but it was the best birthday present ever! Glad I upgraded to the Murcielago LP640 although the 458 Italia was tempting (I love Ferrari!). I don't think I've ever been so excited to drive a car. Had a blast and can't wait to do this again. I think I need to start saving "Dream Car Tour". Thanks guys!!
Very disappointing Lambo drive on auto cross 'track'.
I just returned from an extremely unrewarding driving experience that I purchased through Groupon which consisted of three laps in a Lamborghini Gallardo. I've done these kind of driving experiences before. I've driven Formula Ford and Formula 2000 single seater race cars, and a TVR Tuscon, on proper race tracks, I've driven a Bentley Continental up to 120mph on a test track, and even a really exhilarating test drive of a Maserati Grand Sport on the back roads of Greenwich Connecticut. Today's Lambo drive was by far the least exciting of all of them.
For a start, the 'track' was basically a bunch of very small cones in a parking lot at the Met Life Stadium in NJ. It's very unsatisfying to drive through a bunch of cones, it's very hard to see where the track is going because all you see before you is a confusing mass of cones, it's nothing like being on a regular road or race track. The first lap you have no choice but to go slow because you are trying to figure out the track, the second lap is a bit faster and on the third lap, your last, you are just beginning to get the hang of the track and it's all over! I bet I was driving for no more than 5 minutes. 5 laps would have made it a lot more worth while, although, having said that, the track was very short, lots of tight corners and very little straight so you can never experience decent speed. Really, there was only one spot where you could briefly get into 3rd gear. Now, I paid $99 plus tax for this drive and felt short changed. According to the Groupon voucher it was supposedly a '$249 value'......imagine how disappointed I would have been if I paid that much! I'd like to know if for $249, you only get 3 laps or if the Groupon voucher customers got a shorter ride. It's hard to imagine that for $249 you'd get three very short laps.
Poorly run, cars mediocre, would not return.
Disapppointing because the place gets good reviews. My wife stopped by there NJ location bc she wanted to rent me a car for xmas in Florida. She told me the "clubhouse" was just a dirty office space in a poor part of northern NJ, run by a bunch of kids who looked totaly uninterested in speaking with her. on ehr way in, heard some guy in a gotham shirt screaming the n-word on the phone in the parking lot outside. SERIOUSLY?? She asked to see the "garage" and there were a bunch of broken down race cars back there... very unprofessional looking. At any rate, she booked with them because she was running out of time and scheduled the car to be delivered to me at my Miami address.
The car was delivered late, for one thing. I understand theres a 2 hour delivery window but when my wife called the office to see where my gift was, she got a man who all but laughed at her and told her to wait, that they can't guarantee any times. When the car finally got there, the only thing I can compliment is the delivery driver...forgot his name but he was real professional and freindly.
when i started driving, the check engine light came on, and I called the office again. The same guy (i think) picked up, told me "it's a lambo, dont worry about it" and that was it. seriously??? What kind of customer service is that?
Same guy picked up the car. same good service and freindly.
Anyway, check out signature car collection if you;re looking to rent exotic cars. Amazing warehouse in newark, all state of the art type stuff and real classy looking.
Mike
Excellent.
My wedding was this past Saturday, May 7. As a special gift to the two of us, and as a way to ensure our wedding night sendoff was unlike anything any of our guests had ever seen before, I contracted a rental from Gotham Dream Cars. I wanted to write you a letter to offer my opinion of the services and vehicle rendered. In a word: Excellent.
I had called last month to request information, and then used the Gotham website to reserve a Ferrari F430 Spyder from May 7 until May 9. The vehicle was dropped off at my house as ordered, and I was able to immediately begin living one of my childhood dreams. I had two of my groomsmen present at the time, and when the delivery took place, both of them were speechless for several minutes. This reaction would be mirrored by many of our guests - and even a photographer - at the wedding itself.
I think special attention needs to be made to the Gotham team member who delivered the vehicle to my house, Tony Staron. Tony called me when he was on his way to drop off the car and kept me informed as to when he would be arriving, and I really appreciated this. I will admit, when I first discovered your services, considering the exclusivity of the vehicles involved, I expected to be treated like a criminal and held at arm's length the whole time. Quite to the contrary, Tony was friendly and sociable. He welcomed me into the driver's seat, and stayed with me shortly to make sure I understood how to operate and enjoy the car, and really made me feel comfortable driving it. When the time came to return the car, Tony was again very attentive, and called me to make sure that the scheduled time would work for me. I never expected my convenience to be a factor in the process of delivering an exotic car, and yet Tony put it front and center.
As I mentioned earlier, one of my dreams since childhood had been to drive a Ferrari. Gotham Dream Cars helped me achieve that, and the service I experienced during the process was second-to-none. As an added bonus, the wedding sendoff your car provided was also second-to-none. Many weddings end with the newlyweds disappearing into the night with fireworks, a limousine, or a horse-drawn carriage. Both my beautiful new wife and I were thrilled that ours ended with cheering guests and the satisfying roar of 500 screaming Italian horses.
Dream cars are a real life experience.
I took the Gotham Dream Car Tour, but this is a misnomer because it is a real life experience. Just being able to see these beautiful cars together is a wondeful experience which stirs the blood, but driving them -- with a lot of latitude and encouragement from the guys at Gotham-- is a fantastic experience which should not be done by the faint-of-heart.
The cars are beautify turned out, the staff are outstandingly professional and friendly, and the logistics and routes from freeways to state parks (with fabulous views for those who have the balls to take their eyes off the road) have great balance.
Highly recommended for any car enthusiast or 'team building' session.
Thank you Gotham Guys . . . it was a BLAST!
Other Worldly. Once again... The customer service, the staff, and certainly the Italia all worked together perfectly to make a lifetime memory out of a last minute decision on an ordinary weekend. I anticipate you'll be seeing more of me, and sooner than expected, as my wife has caught the Ferrari virus. I hear that it is incurable, not terminal, but thankfully treatable. Keep up the exceptional work and please thank everyone again for me.
