The Scene – Leather banquettes and ottomans, stained glass lamps and rose petals scattered on the table: Wait, is this Bleecker Street or the Cairo Bazaar? This Middle Eastern-themed club offers a leisured reprieve from a block known better for its mob scenes than its martinis. The spacious bar draws a genial, good-looking crowd of West Village professionals, baseball-capped undergrads and pleasantly surprised accidental tourists. – – The Draw – Guest DJs spin Medina-flavored fusion along with house and techno, and belly dancers stop in for a twirl, often accompanied…

Anyone going there to sit around an talk and be "seen" is in the WRONG place. If you want to groove to good music, hang out, meet cool people, this is the spot for you. If you wanna drink all night (the drinks tend to be unnecessarily expensive), look cooler than you are, or sit all night, don't waste your time.
There are zillions of hookah joints in the East Village where you can sit and chill and have drinks. You go to this place if you wanna dance. In the 8+ years I have been going there (former regular tho now no bc my job is too demanding to go out so much), I've always danced my ass off and had a great time.
I'm not much of a drinker, but my loyalty has paid off in handsome comps throughout the years in free door, drinks, and hookahs. Music is WAY loud. So stop talking!
great time

Horrible experience for a Hookah bar/lounge. Waaay too loud so not good for conversations. Way over priced. Why does a Hookah place need bouncers? To man-handle people. Absolutely rude bouncers & waitresses are very pushy. Just a weird experience. not a true hookah place, just so wanna be. Wouldn't recommend this place one bit, save your money and pick something else.
- Cons: bouncers, pricey, too loud, not classy
Good for dancing

If it wasn't for their music I don't think they would've been in business.
