Spray Tanning is the best here!!!!!. I needed a spray tan for a friend's wedding so someone recommend I go to Suvara Airbrush Tanning at Spa Chakra on fifth.

This place is gorgeous!!!!! They give you champagne when you are waiting, which is so cool.

The spray tanning room is on the top floor where they have a rooftop deck!!! The spray tanning room is so big and clean. They had everything i needed to get ready before my spray.

Anna the girl who spray me is actually famous for airbrush tanning. Every time I read any magazine about Airbrush Tanning it's always her giving advice.

She asked me questions before to give me exactly what I wanted. I was so comfortable with her I forgot I was standing naked in front of her. My tan look so awesome. It wasn't streaking and it faded evenly. I'm so addicted now!!!

If you want a awesome spray tan go see Anna at Suvara at Spa Chakra!!!!!!! The place is so cool.

Best eyebrow wax in NYC. I am very particular about my eyebrows and about where I have them shaped in general. I have never had a better experience than at Spa Chakra. I have been coming to Spa Chakra since its Cornelia days, and I have always had a wonderful experience. Their aestheticians are extrememly talented and upon entering the spa, you feel taken care of immediately.

Best Spa Experience!. To walk into this spa right in the middle of midtown Manhattan and find myself in such a quiet and tranquil ambiance was a welcome surprise. Every detail of Spa Chakra shows the attentiveness that goes into creating a completely relaxing, luxurious experience for spa clients. I will definitely be back in the future!

Great spa!. Despite the fact that my appointment time was changed without notice, I had a great experience. I had my eyebrows waxed by Sun and a massage by Bereica. They were both exceptional! The last person to have done my eyebrows ruined them, but Sun got them right back into shape! She took 20 minutes to properly shape my eyebrows and even showed me how to color them in (I still have some blank spots)

As far as the massage, I have arthritis in my shoulder and nerve damage in my back. Bereica is actually also a personal trainer and we discussed things I can do at home to help the pain. The massage lasted the full hour and a half and I can honestly feel the difference today.

The front desk needs some work, but the people providing the services actually merit the prices. I am definitely going back.

Best Facials In Manhattan. I have been to many upscale spas in search of the perfect facial and I have finally found it. Spa Chakra is impeccably clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, my facial was incredibly calming and the results are perfection. They have a foot bath in the bed which is a nice touch and makes the experience all that much more relaxing. The quality of the service was truly top notch.

an incredibly relaxing experience. I loved this spa! It was an amazing experience -- I never would have known that I was in the middle of NYC. The facial was incredible and Tim was very nice and very knowledgeable. He explained things when necessary but letting me relax the rest of the time. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Anthony gave an amazing massage. He used the exact right amount of pressure and asked me a few times during the massage if the pressure was ok for me. Anthony got out all of my kinks in my shoulders and neck. I thoroughly enjoyed the massage.

Spa Chakra is a beautiful, impeccable spa. Very relaxing. I have no complaints -- both Anthony and Tim were wonderful.

AMAZING - cannot say enough. Loved Spa Chakra. The treatments are 4 star and the professionalism amazing. Maribeth does the best eyebrows in all of NYC. Don't think, just book, you won't regret it.

A Gem on Fifth. I am not one to relax but I found myself asleep for the majority of my massage. It was one of the most enriching and calming treatments I have ever gotten. The staff was attentive from the moment I walked in to the time I exited. My therapist asked all of the right questions prior to beginning my treatment and then pinpointed all areas of tension. I left refreshed, stress free and rejuvenated. I have been to many spas in New York and the surrounding areas but this is the only one where I will return for future treatments. This is a top notch facility.

Professional Experience/Master Massage Technicians. I have been to my share of spas but this experience was different. You felt comfortable, but not just because you were in a robe and slippers but because the technicians and receptionists treated you like a normal person who deserve a pampering experience rather than a customer they couldn't converse with or chat with. The massage room was warm, which is so key to a good massage, and they asked where my problem areas were and then actually concentrate on those problem areas! Everyone there really took the time to find out what I wanted from the experience and then made sure I received it. And the rooms, waiting area and library where you relax before and after are fabulous!
