Falafel anyone? – Just as my friends and I were bemoaning the decline of kosher restaurants, and particularly in their very epicentre of New York City, a client of mine told me about this place. I decided I’d try it . What a refreshing surprise. The hummus, babaganoush, etc is all homemade and for the price, it’s a steal. (They have a “recession-proof” menu.)
Fresh Pita, Fresh out the Oven! – This place has the warmest and most delicious pita's in NYC. Very best around!
great bread and healthy too! – what would i do if i hadnt stubled on thi splace one fateful saturday afternoon. this place tastes great and i wouldnt be writing this review and i wouldnt be so hungry for it that i am going tonight for sure. you can go to. convice yourself that this is good stuff.
Better than Muhhan Tuhhan – This place deserves a medal. How they learned to cook so well, I don't know but they are doing a phenominal job!!!
fresh food!!! – I wish these guys would open a place by me in queens. I truly love having lunch here. I would recommend it to everyone.
Best Fresh Pita – I love this place because it always has fresh homemade bread and gives you the option to create your own pita sanwhich. I would def recommend Urban Pita to my friends.
Great pita Sandwiches – Highly recommend this place..they have great pita sandwiches...they use all fresh ingredients. If your looking for authentic meditteranean food this is the place to go.
Warm, Gooey & Fresh Pita Bread! – I stopped in here for lunch the other day and I absolutely love this place! There are a million places in the city where you can grab a shwarma platter or a kebab sandwich, but this place makes their own pita bread and it's super warm and gooey when they serve it to you. It's the best. They also have very authentic tasting tahina and hummus. I would absolutely reccomend this place. It looks like I'll be eating pita for lunch and dinner now!
Terrific Healthy Foood – I was wandering around the LES with one of my best friends who happens to be Kosher...this makes things a little difficult since i am a total meat eater. Urban Pita really maked this work for both of us. Great food, great prices cant say anything but positive compliments!
