Tips for Mad Hatter
Not Your Average Pub. I work very close to Mad Hatter and never thought to stop in being that it looked like your typical mail - order run of the mill Irish Pub (no offense, but they all tend to be one in the same). However, after meeting up with some co-workers there on a recent Friday night, I was pleasantly surprised. The bar itself is just gorgeous, the old woodwork, mirrors and tin ceiling, I loved it. There was a pretty decent draft beer selection, and the bartender (I think her name started with a T ) was a very nice, fun, cute gal that kept us entertained throughout the night. And though it was a bit crowded at the bar, we didn't wait for a drink. When we decided to sit at a table for some dinner our waitress kept the good time going, (her name was Shena, if you ever go to Mad Hatter, you'll see what I mean) she knew a lot about the food, she was really fast when getting our food and drinks, and basically just gave us a really good time... in the end we stayed with her for the rest of the night 'cause her "sassiness" made it too much fun to leave (and from a gentlemen's perspective she was super-hot). I will deffinately have no problem returning to mad hatter to drop a buck or two.
Great Fries, Friendly Staff, Good Neighboorhood Joint. Mad Hatter is a great neighboorhood pub...bartender Sean is a doll, and the food is pretty good for bar fare...the fries are outstanding. Great place to watch a game, start the evening, end the evening, or anything in between.
BEST SUNDAY EVER!. After flying from England on Saturday night, we were raring to go! So on Sunday morning my husband went to meet a friend of his who lived in Gramercy, at the Mad Hatter Saloon to watch the Liverpool match (there is loads of TVs),where they had a few guinness and an irish breakfast! In the afternoon I joined them and so did his wife where we had a couple of drinks and some good pub grub at the bar with the pleasant barmaid. Then we decided to have dinner at the Mad Hatter so we moved into the restaurant area in the back which was lovely, with brick walls and a kind of old meets new feeling. Cozy! We were pleasantly surprised at the menu and at how reasonable it was. I had the lobster ravioli and the rest of the table had steaks, fish and salads! The food was delicious and so were the drinks!!!! We had a really enjoyable time and i know we will be visiting New York again, and definitly The Mad Hatter! Brilliant!!

I found this great bar in my neighborhood. It?s a great space and cozy.
I went in for lunch and they have an awesome happy hour and great food. I thought the staff were helpful and friendly. Also the heated back patio is a great bonus, you can?t beat it.
I must say I?m addicted to their spring rolls? delicious!
I?ve had a great time there with everyone; the bartenders are loads of fun. Well worth a visit, for a drink or to watch a game as they have tons of huge flat screen TV?s.

Great service and an awesome Shepherd's Pie!. This place ROCKS!! The service was great and the food even better! The beer came right after the order went in!! It was really cold that night so I wanted something nice and comforting. What better comfort food then Shepherd's Pie. WOW!! You get a huge plate of Shepherd's Pie and it was so good I was even tempted to lick the bowl clean!! I've been back there a few times since and keep planning on going back!!
The Best Shepherd's Pie ..... Ever !. I absolutely love this place, great bartenders, great drinks & a great jukebox. It was 4 of us and we sat at a bar table. 3 of us had Shepherd's Pie, so comforting, "Yum-O!? We all had a blast. Our service was attentive and pleasant. I have been there many times and we will be back many time more !!
