User Reviews for New York Cat Hospital

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

He is a wonderful veterinarian. Handles my two cats with great care, is very attentive, takes his time with the examinations and is very thorough in explaining every condition that he comes across with regard to the kitties. He is clearly a cat lover, and I am very happy to have him as my vet and completely trust his practice including the staff that he has on board.

Pros: Service, Location (its two blocks away), Staff, Everything

Cons: No cons really.

Dr. Soboroff is a true treasure for any cat lover. The first time we brought our 16 year-old tabby in for a check-up, Dr. Soboroff gave our little furry boy a sweet kiss after the exam. Dr. Soboroff was always so gentle and patient during our visits. Most importantly, Dr. Soboroff always took plenty of time to thoroughly explain all medical issues, answer any questions, and was remarkably skilled in helping to solve even the most baffling of kitty health and/or behavior issues. Our beloved tabby was already diagnosed with a variety of elderly cat-related health issues (kidney failure, diabetes, and more) when we first discovered Dr. Soboroff after moving to the neighborhood. Thanks to the compassion and kindness of Dr. Soboroff and his wonderful staff, our beloved tabby enjoyed his last year in great comfort and excellent care. One of these days we will adopt another kitty cat, perhaps one of the pampered strays that Dr. Soboroff's office so generously provides foster care to. We certainly know that with Dr. Soboroff, any cat we adopt will receive the very best care. PS: In reading the earlier reviews, I notice that some visitors made reference to wait times. Yes, sometimes you are kept waiting, but more importantly, you should know that Dr. Soboroff is incredibly generous with his time, and you will never feel rushed while he is taking care of your cat. Especially when our tabby was so old and ill, Dr. Soboroff's patient attention was so very much appreciated.

Pros: Nice offices, convenient location for pick-ups/drop-offs

Cons: Dr. Soboroff has not yet figured out how to clone himself. The world needs more vets like him! I wish we could find his equivalent to care for our dog.
