Selia is exquisite, both as a designer and as a person. I visited her bridal salon with a specific vision for my wedding gown, and though she had never designed a gown exactly like what I was describing, she was open to the adventure.

I sincerely enjoyed every minute custom-designing my dress with Selia! Her Tribeca studio is a true paradise: serene, spacious and welcoming. Selia's precision and expertise along with her down-to-earth personality is the perfect combination for making any "bride-to-be" feel at ease during this process. I only wish she could attend my wedding to see me walk down the aisle in her stunning creation!

I recomend Selia Yang Bridal for your wedding dress. My dress was not only beautiful but her tailoring was superb and she is very professional. Selia was great during all the fittings. I would highly recommend Selia Yang.

I definitely recommend Selia Yang wedding dress!! I visited more than 10 bridal shops in NYC, Long Island, and NJ. But her shop was the best! You easily can tell how high quality dresses they are! I got a whole silk and Chantilly lace gown. Because of silk, I feel really comfortable when I wear it. Also, the dress looks so soft and elegant. Another good thing is you can face to face the designer (Selia) and ask professional opinions. Even though you know exactly what kind of dress you are looking for, sometimes it is better to ask professionals. She is such a cheerful and a wonderful person. I recommend all people to visit her shop :D

I have so many wonderful memories from my wedding, and one of the best memories I have is of my dress. It was absolutely stunning. Selia Yang's work is brilliant, dazzling, and elegant. It's a treat to go into her Tribeca showroom and to spend time with the designer herself. She's lovely to work with and wants your dress to be more perfect than you do! A no shoes policy keeps everything sparkling, and she gives you privacy to try things on/off, so you can go with a group.

I purchased the Isabel dress, and Selia met with me several times to go over every single detail. The dress was so simple, but every seam and strap was carefully crafted. By the end, it was perfect, and I couldn't wait to put it on for my wedding! I wish I could wear it again, and I envy all the brides who are just starting out their wedding dress fittings with Selia! You will end up with a masterpiece.

I wore a wedding dress by Selia this Spring. The whole experience of working with Selia and wearing one of her gowns was incredible. The silhouettes are beautiful, she has styles and designs that can work for many body types and tastes, and she gives incredible customer service throughout the process. I chose a gorgeous dress that was unique, sophisticated, and reasonably priced overall. I really enjoyed working with Selia to fit the dress and my girlfriends and I had a lot of fun going to fittings at the showroom, etc. Cant recommend Selia Yang enough--buy your wedding dress there!

I had very little time to plan my wedding....less than 6 months!! so i thought i would have to settle on the dress. i went to a few big name places and was not too impressed and getting a little depressed. when my sister and i walked into Selia Yang in Tribecca i was totally blown away by how simple yet beautiful the dresses were. the first one i tried on my sister (older sister :) started crying! (that did not happen at any other place!).

Selia was so warm and makes you feel comfortable which is always a huge plus when you are a jittery bride. she truly has an eye for what looks good on you and her designs are elegant and beautiful and never overdone.

so how it works....you choose a dress/design and she will take all your measurements based on the design and then they custom make the dress for you. she fits the dress to you perfectly and truly knows how to design for a woman's shape.

i chose a dress that day and cancelled all my other dress appointments!! as for the cost i was a little afraid to hear because of the quality of the dress but not only are the dresses beautiful they are affordable. and Selia really worked with me to get my dress made in plenty of time for my wedding.

if you want floofy ruffles go somewhere else...if you want stunning and elegant go to Selia!!!

Selia Yang TriBeCa was not the first bridal salon I attempted to find the perfect dress in. I was making my select list of stops based on reviews in New York Magazine and the places made popular by trendy publishers and the likes. I suppose I can classify myself as a slightly obsessive bride, aiming for perfection in everything wedding related. By the time I stepped into Selia Yang's bridal I was becoming frustrated with the experience. I was searching for a bridal expert to listen and really hear what I wanted my wedding dress to be. I am so thankful I read about Selia Yang as an affordable yet very elegant option for NYC brides. My first appt was with Susan. She assured me there was no rush and sat and talked with me before we began looking at the collection. By the end of the session I knew I found what I was looking for...classy, stunning and elegant. I was back a few weeks later to purchase my dream dress. This time I met Selia. Selia is a true artist, she speaks in colorful words and sees everyone of her brides as unique. Her sincerity and passion for what she does for her brides is everything amazing. I have been working with Selia over the past few months. She pays attention to every detail, explains her thinking and listens to mine and most of all creates luxurious dresses that feel and look like non other.

I could not be happier with my purchase...the dress is flawless. Alterations, veils, hair accessories, Selia does it all. Wearing a dress by Selia Yang is original art, inspired by love...a simply beautiful bridal boutique experience.

From the moment that I saw the Chloe and the beautiful selection of belts on Selia's website, I knew that I had found my dream dress. When I tried on the gown, I knew it would be the dress that I'd walk down the aisle in. Selia did an amazing job of tailoring the dress to my shape. She's incredibly professional and attentive to detail. Selia even helped me to pick out the perfect veil to compliment my gown. I received so many compliments on my wedding day. The silk organza fabric and the amazing embroidery on the belt really made for a stunning gown. I have never felt so beautiful in my life! Thank you Selia for making my wedding day so special. You're an absolute gem!

I bought a wedding dress at Selia Yang that wildly surpassed even the most beautiful of my fantasies. I went to a couple places before Selia Yang, and they were fine. The dresses were lovely. But immediately upon seeing Selia's dresses on my body, I was hooked. I wanted all of them! The thing about Selia is that she is a true artist. She creates elegance and glamour that have a signature look but with a unique quality to each piece that allows for all the unique women that come into her place to find something that flatters them stunningly. She was there for my fitting and gave me great advice. She told me that looking for a wedding dress is not just about finding a gorgeous dress, it's about finding THE dress. And she worked with me to make me feel gorgeous in every one, but helped to guiding me toward THE one. I couldn't recommend her more.

Fantastic Experience. Beautiful fitted gowns for a modern bride. After going to some of the top bridal stores in the city, I found myself at Selia Yang's after a frustrating few days shopping for a wedding dress. At the other boutiques, I had been met with pushy sales people, busy stores and gowns that couldn't be customized at all. It was such a breath of fresh air to walk into Selia's boutique in Tribeca and the most enjoyable experience for me. I arrived for my appointment to a quiet dressing area and the store to myself and met with the designer directly. After describing the dress style I was looking for, they provided me with several to try on. The toughest part was that I loved all of them. They use the most beautiful, comfortable fabrics and have the most flattering styles for any bride. Selia met with me for every appointment and always made me feel included in the dress making process. We made some custom changes to the design (which other stores wouldn't let me do) and I really felt I had a unique dress by the end. I really enjoyed dealing with both girls and found them to make it the enjoyable experience I always hoped for. I was never rushed, they were very attentive and friendly. For anyone looking for top service and beautiful unique dresses, this is the perfect boutique.
