Reliably YUMMY Thai Food.
My favorite Thai place in NYC. Everything I have had here (and I have had many items from every category) was better than most places, and some truely exceptional. Favorites include Tom Ka Gai and
Tom Yum soups (spicy chicken chunk soups with or without coconut milk), the vietnamese style summer rolls, and the Pad Prik King (spicy beef with green beans).
Portions are generous and your food will get to you fresh and without excessive waiting. The only thing I don't like is the tables not having enough legroom, but just work around it!
It's true that they are reluctant to alter the spicyness of their dishes on request, since they have been around a while and "perfected" the dishes.
Be sure to order the "brown rice" (rather than the plainer white stuff). It's is especially good with the spicier dishes.
Very reasonably priced. No experience with delivery - only "dine in".
I can't believe the negative reviews of this place. No idea what happend there....…
A FISHY EATING EXPERIENCE.
This was my first time in this restaurant. I ordered a salmon dish. In the first bite my mouth was full of fish bones. Each bite had various amounts of fish bones. Sometimes the bones got stuck
between my teeth, and I had to pull them out. Each bite of the fish was an adventure in danger. It seems that I spent more time taking the bones out of my mouth than chewing and swallowing the fish. The flesh of the fish was mushy and had an off taste. The sauce was bland and tasteless. Ordered tea. Was given a cup of hot water and a tea bag--for self brewing, I suppose.
This was my first time in this restaurant, also my last.…
What is the gender of the hostess?.
MY coworkers and I recently ate here for lunch and were wondering if the hostess is a guy or a girl.. can anyone help? She has a deep voice, solid jaw line and big hands. But, she has a great butt
, soild curves and nice feet.. Ohh the pad thai is ok.
Thanks…
It was okay. I ordered the lunch Chicken Noodle Soup, it tasted a bit average, a little bit too much sugar and salt were flavored into the soup and they didn't make it spicy enough when I ask them to.
Lousy Customer Service. Have had a great experience with their other locations, but a terrible delivery experience with this place. They completely mixed up our order and then refused to send the corrected order, instead arguing with us about the original order and saying it might be a problem to deliver the corrected items because they were less than the $10 delivery minimum. Unbelievable.…
