Amazing salon!. Lovella is great, Oded did the updos and hairstyles for me, my bridal party and many of my guests. Every style looked amazing, very sophisticated and elegant! He listened to our ideas but also suggested new styles when people didn't really know what they wanted. In the end everybody looked great.

He was able to do 2 completely different but amazing styles for me for the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding.

They are very nice and welcoming at the salon. I'd definitely recommend them for the regular stuff, as well as for bridal services, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Updo. I made an appointment with Natalia never having gone to this salon before. She listened to what i wanted and executed beautifully! The design she came up with was beautiful and elegant and not a hair was out of place for the entire evening. People on the street were commenting at how beautifully creative the hair was. Thank you Natalia for your attention to detail and for really going above and beyond. I will most definitely be back!

Unexpected very nice experience. I didn't expect anything when I walked into Lovella.

Was not planning to get a haircut and was on my way to somewhere else when I passed by Lovella. I decided on the spot that I should go inside and see if what their price they would give me for an haircut and if they had somebody who could cut long curly hair.

I only had to wait for 5 minutes before

Holly came to me. Asked me what I wanted, looked at my hair and started washing my hair. She cut my hair, blow dried it and showed me a tip how to style my hair if I want my curls a little bit controlled.

No one else touched my hair but her, which was great, because I dont like when they switch between hairstylists.

I was probably there for 40 minutes.

And was very happy with how I was treated by Holly and my haircut.

I will go back to Lovella and have her do my next haircut again.

New to NYC and need a hair salon?. Are you living in/visiting NYC and need a hair salon where you feel comfortable and relaxed? Then you must go to Lovella!! The staff is extremely friendly and professional - you will not feel intimidated when walking in for the first time. They are experts in cut&color and will listen to you regardless of your needs. I am a blonde who is extremely particular about hair salons and will never go anywhere else after discovering Lovella. Fair prices and exceptional service.

Ronen. Ronen has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 2 years. He always listens to what I want and the final result is great. I have referred 6 of my friends to him and they all have been happy with their hair.

Lovella is the best salon in NYC!. We hired Lovella for our company photoshoot and everything was 100% professional! Great job all around. We recommend to all!!

calgon- take it away???????. I took my stepdaughter to Lovella as a treat ! After talking up a storm on how fabulous she - my kid left there a couple of inches too short and with a headache . She talked about her love life... ouch ! Some things are better left unsaid ! Lose the loser -loser ! YOU ARE DEFINITLY NOT A PRO ! DO NOT GO TO LOVELLA and if you must TAKE YOUR PAIN MEDS ,YOU WILL NEED THEM

like Calgon, Lovella will "take you away!". If you like being pampered and walking out feeling like a million bucks, go to Lovella.

I see Cynthia, who, as other reviewers mentioned, has incredible style and listens to her clients. They have always been on time and I've always felt attended to. I have long processes with double process color, highlights and cut, but they never waste a minute in between each step and I am able to get it all done the fastest yet most relaxing time I've ever experienced at any salon. Maybe it has something to do with the delicious cappuccino they serve, or just the conversation with the staff.

Oded and Avi, the owners, must really know how lead their team because they all help to create an atmosphere of relaxation and fun, which is not easy to find at similar caliber salons.

Wouldn't think of getting my hair done anywhere else!. I travel all the way from the Upper West Side to get my hair done by Cynthia. I would not trust my hair with anyone else. Her knowledge and experience are terrific - she always listens to me and my hair comes out beautiful. I always get compliments and have actually sent many other Upper West Side moms to see her. The salon as a whole is a welcoming place with a family-like atmosphere. People always recognize you and welcome you with a warm smile.

One thing that might tell you how loyal I am to Cynthia and Lovella is that I bring my son all the way across town to get his hair done when I could take him to any of the Kiddie salons up here. His hair is difficult to cut and she does a GREAT job.
