Terrible Food, Awful Service. Ate at the BXL on E 51st, and it is a terrible restaurant, for both food and service. The food is bland and tasteless, but far worse is the service. Extremely poor management, rude and incompetent, makes this restaurant appalling. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic Food and Great beer. One of the best kept secrets in the city. Great food, and the best selection of beer. Try the meatballs and fries, you won't be dissapointed.

Shrieking drunken fools. I'm, like, 23 years old, and, like, oh my God, I, like live in New York City?!! And, like, my friends and I are, like, getting plastered and, like, oh my God, like SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS because we saw it, like, on, like, MTV?!! And, like, maybe if I, like, pass out I'll get raped by one of those, like, corporate douchebags at the bar?! I mean, like, he will, like, give me cab fare back to Brooklyn, right?

great find. My husband loves Belgian beer so we just had to try this place out. We were very happy we did. Great service, great food (Try the mussels Thai style or Provencal), great beer selection. We're going back as soon as we can!

Great Belgian Beer and Food!. What more can I say. Mussels are terrific. The bartender knew all about the beer and what to pair it with. A true Beer Somalier!
