Lovely people. Great company. My counseller Elizabeth is amazing! I have been placed on great assignments and they always keep in touch with me.

Cons: the assignments are mostly one day gigs

Boy have things changed since 2008.... This place takes unprofessional behavior to another level... I've worked with this company on and off for years, and while they used to be stellar, everything changes.

As of now, they NEVER read your file. You have to constantly tell them your going rate and what your strengths are every single time you talk to your representative. To say their incompetent would be an understatement. They also purposely withhold vital information, such as the pay rate, up until the last minute then go forth and blame you for their sneaky tactics. It's no secret that these companies make a windfall of cash off of the work of others.

Do note that any job you get through this company, you will work your ass off for pennies!!! I personally prefer Gainor Staffing. This is largely due to the fact that you're guaranteed professionalism and they are more than straight up with you about the job at hand.

Top Staffing Agency in NYC!. I was referred to Atrium through a friend and heard nothing but wonderful things about the staffing agency. Upon submitting my resume electronically through their website I was pleasantly surprised as I received a follow-up phone call within a few hours and had an appointment to meet with a recruitment counselor the next day.

In walking into the office I knew right away that my experience with Atrium would be vastly different than any other staffing agency I had worked with previous. Unlike all of the agencies I had visited in the past- Atrium has private interview rooms where you are able to get to know your counselor and talk about your career expectations without feeling as if you are thrown into a bullpen. It was evident that Atrium really takes the time to get to know their applicants as our conversation felt more like two friends catching up rather than a stuffy, fast-paced interview. My counselor listened intently to my needs and took notes as to what my top job priorities were. In mentioning several jobs that she thought would suit my interests; I was offered an interview the very next day for a temp position as an administrative assistant for the VP of marketing at a media company.

My counselor was very proactive in helping me prepare for the interview and I was delighted when she called to inform me that I was offered the temp position. Since my relationship with Atrium first started I have recommend several friends who have all had wonderful experiences with the agency. One friend in particular wasn?t quite sure what path she was going to take out of college and thought that temping would be her best bet. Within a week she was placed at Coach and started out with an hourly rate of $17!

Unlike any other staffing agency, my experience with Atrium has been very warm, positive, and extremely productive. Their ability to connect with applicants and provide wonderful opportunities sets them apart from other staffing firms!
