A Great Experience. I hired Coakley Plumbing from a friend's recommendation. My wife and I had a very complex sewer line problem. Neither of us are handy so we had to rely on what the plumbing profeesionals were telling us. We interviewed 4 plumbers. I found Sean Coakley to be charming and knowledgeable and he had the best price point. He explained what the other plumbers described as a very complex problem in simple terms and said it could be fixed. He estimated the number of days and labor and material costs. At first I thought it couldnt be true but he was the only gut who was truthful about my problem. His workers showed up on time each day and cleaned up after themselves each day. I would recommend them without any hesitation or reservation.

arrogant and no set up of work area.. We used sean coakley to do some minor work in our apartment and we ended up with a $8,000 bill for new wood floors. First the worker and his helper were very crude and used loud voices and lots of cursing. They never really prepared the floor with anythin more than some drop cloths. They proceeded to pull out a drain pipe with no buckets to catch water. The water and concreate saturated new wood floors. The owner was arrogant and had regard to what has happend. They should never be used if you care about your home.

INCOMPETENT, RUDE AND EXPENSIVE. We had a horrible experience with this firm and I would never use them again. I pity those who don't know how to do their own research on parts, because they subsitute cheap parts that are discontinued.

We contracted wih Sean Coakley to install new valve kits in our 3 toilets. They estimated the cost at $1600 for the three, which is expensive. We decided to go ahead, and they committed to a time and date-- I took off from work and no one showed. I called them at 10 am and theyexplained that they had no way of knowing when the guys would arrive. I was angry because I missed work for no good reason. They arrived at 5 pm and didi the installations. Next day we noticed that one toilet was really malkfunctioning making hissing noises throughout the night and eveyr time we flushed it. We wrote them an e-mail describing the problem and asked them to set up an appointment to fix it. They were resistant. My husband researched the part and found it was for the wrong model and was discontinued. They nevertheless insisted they were right after we called and verified this with the Kohler supplier. Their e-mails were unapologetic and insulting.

We said, forget it, just come and fix it-- we said this on Nov 1st and Nov 3rd--they never called to set up the appointment. On Nov 22 I called them and they agreed to send someone by 9 am the next morning-- at 9:30 am no one showed and I called they said they could not predict when the person would get there despite the fact that they agreed previously to 9 am. It could be noon they said.

I spoke with the owner, Sean Coakley and he was unapologetic, rude and argumentitive. I threatened legal action and they got a guy to show up to correct 1 toilet at 10:30 am. Then Mr Coakley appeared at the door; he insisted that he needed the part that had been removed-- I told him I wanted to keep it in case we needed it as evidence, since I had already paid for it. I then took pictures of the correct and incorrect models because he refused physically to give it to me. A very argumentitive guy who does not know how to treat customers. Then it became clear that he only had one part and they had knowingly placed discontinued parts in 2 of the 3 toilets. They needed to come back the next day to correct the second toilet.

We worked so hard on this case-- to fund out the correct parts, lost work time and aggravation from a hissing toilet for over a month's time when they refused to set up an appointment to correct this.

This is a firm who is lead by a person who doesn't admit mistakes and charges you before you know there are mistakes, then makes you fight every step of the way to uncover the truth.
