Bar or Restaurant?. Strike 1: This place is TOO BRIGHT to have good bar atmosphere and the bar lights hang down so low, they block the view of the TV's behind the bar so it's not much of a sports bar since you really can only comfortably see the TV's if you're sitting at the bar. Strike 2: I went there to watch a football game last year that was on the NFL Network and they didn't have it. Some sports bar?! Strike 3: I watched Game 6 of the 2009 World Series at the bar with a great crowd but when asked to turn the sound up on the TV so people NOT sitting at the bar could hear the commentary, the bartender/owner (a Mets fan) said no. I go to the Bronx Ale House now.

It is what it is. This place is my local bar so I am biased. Staff is friendly and efficent , food is good comfort food and the regulars are nice. Ive never had a problem there except with the too bright of lighting .

Best dag sports bar period. Forever I have been a sports fan. Now in my younger days it was all balet and speed skating, but since i got older and became a woman, i have loved sports like football and baseball to get men. riverdale city grill is the best bar ever. i usually dance on the bar when my team, (the birds) win. but we cant make everyone happy. run with it, we eat too. and thats about it. go burds.

The Bronx! Who knew?. One of my good friends lives out here and we decided since he always meets me in the city...I would travel to a far away land called...The Bronx. We went over to Riverdale to watch the olympics and drink. It was actually a cool place for being so far out of manhattan. The bartender was really nice and made RIDICULOUSLY strong drinks for me. In no time at all we were rip roaring and having a good time. When/if i go to the Bronx, i will definitely be back.

Best Sports bar in the BX!. The is a great sports bar to watch all the games! Wear your favorite team and get ready for great drinks, great food and great laughs! The atmosphere is great! You feel like you are really at the stadium, I would prefer Shea over Yankee! The wings are perfect and the service is awesome! Great food, Great Fun!!

I Love this Bar!. Great place to watch a game! Service is awesome, and the food is great. Best wings in the Bronx! Burgers are good too. This Bar and Grill does it right!! Happy hour was fun with many cool fans.
