Great before the game. Who can say no to a $3.00 PBR or Natty Light before the game where a beer is $10 this place is perfect for a Pre and Post Yankees win!!

More Huge Club Than Sports Bar. I have to admit I do sometimes go to The Dugout before and after a Yankee game and not to Stan's as much anymore, and the reason is simple...location. Though not nearly as cool a pre-game bar as Stan's is, The Dugout is much bigger and therefore when it gets crowded you can still move around in it...which was always a problem at Stan's before a game. This place is dark and cavernous and really has more of a dance club feel than a traditional sports bar. You want tradition, you go to Stan's. You wanna save the extra block walk, The Dugout is your closest and best choice...unless you want to spend a fortune and head into the overrated Hard Rock Cafe.

Editorial Review. Just a stone's throw from the actual dugout, this dimly lit tavern gets crowded with Yankees fans getting loaded off simple Bud in a bottle.

Doesnt feel like a baseball game!. Very nice looking place, just totally mis-placed!......Feels like a nightclub, dark and gloomy...Not the way I want to feel when at a baseball game!......Stans is what a baseball bar is all about, and as much as I try to experience the other bars around the stadium, I just realize nothing stacks up to Stans.....The dugout would be a cool experience if located somewhere downtown NYC
