i enjoyed it. The spa was very quaint and had a homely feel that i liked....... the staff interacted well with the customers as if they've known them forever.........i went for an acne facial but ended up getting microdermabrasion.........Mena was thoughtful......she made me extemely comfortable during the entire experience answering all my questions ........it was like having my "mi abuela" give me a facial. the owner,Cathy is gracious, knowledgeable and hands on.........overall i enjoyed it and my skin instantly looked n felt better even my husband noticed

Tones Spa The best in the Bronx. I loved ,Loved it!!! My husband and I first time ever getting a full body massage and it was at Tone Spa...The staff was soo amazing with their hands !!!Most of all i love when the owner is on site and knows what she is talking about.From the phone conversations to the appointment day very professional.I walked out of the place and already told five people.I will be back.Cathy is great!!

Great and Relaxing. Cathy is an excellent hostess. Her and the staff at Tones Spa are professional, friendly and caring. They showed me what it means to pamper myself and how its important to do this as often as possible. I have had various services from herbal wrapping to a massage, all of which have been delightful. I will continue to patronage this establishment because it is well worth the money.

Great Service and Affordable!.
Cathy is a great and her staff are very friendly. My first experience at the spa was fantastic. Cathy is very attentive and she answered all my questions. The waiting area is very nice and comfy. I had a body wrap and i lost 23 inches. I would def recommend this place for my friends and family. Also her prices are unbeatable!
Not to mention the spa is walking distance to the 6 train. which is not bad. you can't go wrong with this spa.

Great spa. It's a very warm, welcoming place. the owner actually works in the spa...i was surprised to see that. Ask her a question and she has the answer. their massage therapists are amazing! i also had a wrap and it really does tske inches off your waiste. Very pleased.

Amazing experience at Tones Spa.
When I first called to book an appointment, Catheryn answered the phone and was very informative. I initially wanted to have the plaster therapy done but she told me that the herbal wrap treatment would benefit me better to reach my goal. I stayed on the phone with her for about 20 minutes and she answered all my questions. Just the fact that she suggested what would benefit me more said a lot about the place, any other spa could've told me to spend unnecessary money on a treatment just to cash on. I was very impressed !!
I was late for my 1st appointment and she still saw me that day and was very understanding about the weather. We talked about my diet what my goals were as far as my body and she gave me great advice and tips. The treatment was amazing in just one treatment alone I lost 27 and half inches !! She also gave me important reading materials explaining the procedure and what I should expect.
Overall the experience was great the staff is caring and professional.
The place isn't big as one would expect but the rooms are separated for privacy and the bathroom is clean which was very important for me, because it shows how clean the place is.
I highly recommend the spa and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did !!

Love Tones Spa!!!!. I have never been to a spa until I attended a friend's birthday party at Tones Spa in Feb 2009. Since then I've gone back for facials and massages. I like the owner's approach of having reasonable prices so you can take advantage of improving your health & wellness. The staff members are very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. I am proud to say I am now a regular customer. Other services that I have received are the herbal wraps, temporary eyelashes, and eyebrow threading. Their skincare products by Gerard's and iLike are great for me. I must say I enjoy the multicultural staff and customers.

not the best facial. Did not enjoy my deep cleansing facial at Tones Spa. It was not a very relaxing room they put you in, the lady doing the facial was not very friendly and the products they use are the not the best. I have had facials before and this was the only one that left my face red afterwards. Also, they charge a higher price than what is advertised at booking so be careful.

bitchonwheels. i called to nquire about an ppoinment and the woman wo answered the phone started to talk to someone else in the background after the third sentence i hung up. that is the most unprofessional act a person could do over the phone i will definitely go somewhere else. but it's the BRONX what can you expect plus the girl was Spanish so wasn't expecting professional at all
