100% Authentic Fufu from Ghana!. We stumbled upon this place near the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and were absolutely delighted to find a neighborhood fufu restaurant. Entering here is like magically transporting yourself directly to Ghana. The clientele was 100% Ghanaian, the music is typical of anything you'd find in a restaurant in Accra or Kumasi (hiplife, highlife, etc). The fufu soup bowls were clearly imported from Ghana. The fufu was so perfect that I think it must have been pounded by hand in the kitchen. They offer light soup and peanut (groundnut) soup, with chicken, fish, or meat, at $9 for a single ball of fufu with soup. If you are Ghanaian and want to feel at home, try this place.
