A Must Try!. After reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on Beccofino. I've lived in Italy and had some authentic cuisine; this food is GOOD.

The menu has a variety of selections for meat, fish, and pasta lovers. I ordered the "straw and hay" fettucine alfredo with prosciutto and peas (delicious and enough leftovers to have for lunch the next day) and sampled my date's chicken marsala (equally delicious).

The atmosphere was cozy and intimate; relatively quiet dining. I also found the service to be efficient without feeling like I was being rushed out. It is a small place, so if you're in a hurry for a meal, maybe a call ahead to check if there is a wait would be safe.

Beccofino is definitely worth a try.

Cozy Place with Great Food. Great place for comfort food! Feels like you are in an authentic Italian restaurant. The service is a delight & pleasant. The food is cooked with love and care, and tastes delicious!

We live in the area and always go to this spot to have a nice fullfililng meal. The portions are big, so you can always take it to go!

We love Beccofino!!

PS. Sister restaurant to Madisons (totally different places however). Beccofino is deffinitely better in food, service and price!!

Beccofino, becco fine-o. it's new to me, but i will without question be going back. try it. everyone enjoyed their meal. mine was scrumptious. nuff said.

Great. My wife and I discovered this restaurant during one of our wandering drives through Riverdale and decided to stop in one night for dinner. We had to wait about ten minutes for a table because we did not have reservations and the place was bustling. While waiting, I noticed that every patron looked happy and the food on each table looked very appetizing. I heard many "mmm's" and "yums" as I watched people taking bites of their dishes, as well as watched many of the diners offering each other tastes of each dish. This, to us, is always a great sign and worth the wait. We were seated at the very small, but nice bar in the rear of the restaurant. Nice wine selection. The bartender and hostess chatted us up and never made us feel forgotten. Very nice people. When we were seated, the menu was very nice- not huge- but pretty comprehensive. I believe anyone could find something to eat. Great bread basket and wonderful calamari fritti appetizer. We requested to share one order of the osso buco special of the evening and, unlike most restaurants, they served the single portion on two separate dishes without our asking. Very impressed. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy and absolutely delicious. The pasta side was cooked perfectly al dente, and our accompanying broccoli was wonderfully tender-crisp with just the right amount of olive oil and garlic. We shared a tiramisu, which was also very good. The bill was very reasonable - just about $45.00. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great, and in chatting up the couple at the next table, we were told that, as regulars, they found all the food there to be superb. To top all of this off, the hostess comped us the glasses of wine we had while we waited. We will certainly be back!
