best sushi in astoria. if you live in Astoria, this is hands down the best place for sushi. they just reopened after expanding, and the food is as good as it was before. consistently fresh, well made sushi.

Best Sushi in Astoria!!!!!!!!!!. OMG!!!!!!! Best Sushi ever!!!! I was just there yesterday and it was one of the best experiences FOOD wise ever!!! The service, not much to comment on, it was not bad, but not very personable either, but the Food was great!!! I defintely recommened this place!! Misoooo Hungryyyyyyyy for sushi!!!!!!!

BEST sushi...really!. I (dangerously) live down the street from this restaurant and I dream about their food! You cannot go without getting the Pauline roll. It is seriously addictiving! The prices are great and the staff is very friendly. The lunch specials are such a great deal. They have them on Saturdays too and you get sooo much food for your money. The fish is fresh and always good. Their shumai is also awesome. If you love sushi you really need to try this place.

Awesome. Its the best suchi in the wurld. I've bin eatin' california rolls for years and these are the best cali rolls ever! The soy sauce is amazing and not too salty and the japanese mustard is mild kinda like normal. Great place just wasn't crazy about the raw fish ! The waitresses are hot !

Yummyyy Sushi!!. I can't get enough of this place. Each time I go there with my friends I ask myself why I waited so long to come back! All of the sushi is soo good, the prices are not bad, and the waiters are always nice! This place is pretty much always crowded and the food has always been fresh! I can't wait to go back!

Best Sushi in Town. Watawa has the best sushi I have ever had! I go to many sushi restaurants all over the city but this one is by far the greatest. Decor is hip and trendy- you don't feel like you're in Astoria. Menu is awesome, always have sushi special rolls to die for. Try the Bumble Bee roll - trust me its ridiculously good.

Everything about the staff, menu, and ambiance is a 10!

junk sushi,kitchen food terrible.... i ate 2 days ago,i can not imagine,they served with crack dish...maybe i should tell Healthy department,n sushi used unfresh fish..i ate spicy tuna,when i opened the roll,i saw frozen tuna...holly crap!!..n then i tried yaki udon...taste was really bad...tasteless..blent...n the service terrible..chinatown style...thats why they price so cheap..my suggestion dont go to this junk restaurant...what a nightmare..

Too bland. I honestly don't see what the fuss is about! I finally tried Watawa after hearing about it and I wasn't impressed at all. I have tried a lot of great sushi places, A LOT of places and I have always had a good review but the sushi there seemed to lacking flavor, presentation was too bland. The place is nice, and yes, the music is a bit too loud and don't seem to match the ambiance. I rather to go Sakura, so far the best in Astoria.

Awesome-best sushi!. Not much more i can say than that Watawa is awesome. My friends come from the city to eat here and can't go wrong with the prices either!
