Professional, oustanding results, and super affordable. First called to inquire about the different types of hair treatments that they offer. I was thoroughly informed of the different treatments and their prices and what the end result will be like for my type of hair. I felt bad to have kept her on the phone for so long but she was super nice and understanding throughout the entire phone conversation! When I found the salon (which was not hard at all- right next to a Chase bank!), I was warmly greeted by the front desk receptionist (who was really pretty by the way) and she walked me to a table and gave me another evaluation of my hair to help me decide what would be best for my hair... We settled on a mixture of both the japanese hair straightening and the brazilian kerating treatment and the result was breathtaking. I absolutely love it and with the service and price that they offer, I can't imagine going to another overpriced/overrated salon to get it done! I actually don't even know if other salons offer this particular treatment... But all in all, I absolutely loved the whole experience and I most definitely will be going back for a touch up in a couple of months!

exceeded my expectations. In all honesty, if I can give this salon more than 5 stars I would!

I have very kinky, frizzy, extremely curly hair- I didn't think that anything would work to make my hair straight or to tame the frizz; until I came to this salon. The salonists first welcomed me with a sincere greeting and a big smile guiding me through which process would be best for my hair type and what would fulfill my expectations. I went with the Japanese hair straightening.

I am so thrilled to say that my hair now is, what they refer to as, "pin straight". I literally come out the shower, brush my hair and out the door I go! It really does remain permanently straight! I would recommend this salon to everyone and anyone!

The best salon ive ever been to. So i went to hair club ib a few weeks ago to get japanese hair straightening for the 3rd time. I previously went to some small salon in flushing, but was introduced to hair club ib recently. When i got my hair done at the other small place in flushing, it was never perfectly straight. After i got my hair done at hair club ib and washed it after2 days, i was ecstatic!! it was extremely straight, shiny, and soft. I have to say, this is the best japanese hair straightening i have ever got. All the staff was extremely nice and caring as well.

best at straightening!. I found ib on google for straightening it was the first place that came up and had lots of good reviews and went to get the japanese hair straightening. It was my 2nd time getting the straightening done first time i went to other place that was on roosevelt when i went there i had to dry my own hair and they give you some number for your turn. At ib it was totally different experience!

The service were so nice and they told me how my hair was broken off from last straightening, they tole me not to worry they made me feel better. They put some treatment on my hair for free because my hair was about to break off from the last straightening!

I was so worried and nervous..when the process was done wow my hair came out amazingly shiny and straight!

It was really good experience at ib im definitely coming back here again!!

best hair salon!. i got the brazilian at hair club ib, i got the type c.

my hair is pretty curly and they told me that it wont come out pin straight. i had to get the brazilian for the condition the results was amazing it came out very straight and my condition was very different from before it was shiny and smooth!!!! i recommend this place and brazilian type c!!

ONLY HAIR CLUB IB. I went to hair club IB with my daughter but they were too busy so we had to go some small salon(K Y Lee) on 160st and Northern Blvd. I went there to get Japanese Hair Straightening and it was perfectly fine till i got home. when i washed my hair after two days.. my daughters hair and my hair was breaking out. we were so mad that we went back to hair club IB to fix it. of course they fixed for us. thank god. but wth.. i paid more than $150 in that small salon on 160st . i only pay $150 to get my hair done in hair club IB.I had to come drive back to flushing for an hour (too much gas fee..) and my hair got shorter cause that small stupid salon who ruined our hair. I would never go anywhere but hair club IB. thanks to hair club IB for fixing my hair :) and there the best at japanese and brazilian!

Be smart about ur hair. Pretty long story to tell but my first salon (dont want to name it ) in Flushing NY, where i got my Brazilian keratin treatment for 250... done my hair twice there but i thought it was just too much money to pay. so i kinda searched on google map and there was better place called Hair Club IB! I read all the review and i wanted to give it a try. I called to made an appointment and drove 2 hours to Flushing. When i went to hair Club IB i was so supprised why i didnt bother to look at this place when ever i pass to get to the first salon. Hair Club IB was very clean and pretty big. They have privite parking space in the basement, which i didnt had to pay for anything. All the stylist and the workers were very kind and friendly. more shocking thing was the price... it was $180. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment was $180!!!! saved my gas money and my lunch money. I didnt had to read a book or anything because i was busy chatting with the worker who straightened my hair. she was so nice and funny. i had fun talking to her. when i saw my result i totally loved it... it was amazing. they got my roots all straightened and teached my how to take care of my hair. they knew all about my hair type. no wonder the appointment book was booked... im so thankful that i found Hair Club IB. All my friends wants to go to Hair Club IB because they saw my beautiful hair and fell in love with it. now i cant stop playin with my hair. Everyone should go to Hair Club IB. Next time i might try the japanese hair straightening. ;)

WOW! amazing!. ive been going to this salon in long island for few years now. my friend recommended hair club ib and told me about brazilian keratin type c? so i went to get it done.

the price was pretty cheaper than i thought. i used to pay $300 for just keratin and ib only charged me 180 and 20 for the cut i saved about 100-200

the people who were there was very kind and friendly and the results were amazing! it looks like my own natural hair!! i love it

Love This place!!!. i wrote this in google review but i had ato put this in nyc serch website!! Last week i went to get japanese hair straightening and it was perfect. i been looking for hair salon for couple days. half year ago i got my japanese hair straightening in Washington DC cause i live around there and it was so bad... they couldnt get my roots straight... i had to pay more than $400 and there service sucked. so i decide to look up on the internet to find some place in nyc. The day before my friends wedding i went to Hair club IB to ask them how much would the japanese hair straightening, they said it was $150!! first, i got scared if my hair might get messed up before the wedding.. but wth my boy friend convinced me to try it. After 3hours i looked like a princess.NO JOKE! all my roots were perfectly straight and my hair was so soft.. thanks to my boy friend and hair club IB. lols and at the wedding my hair looked amazing than the bride. lols everyone asked me where i got my hair done. and my friends were touching my hair cause it feels like silk. i def recommend hair club IB. next time if i get to nyc my first stop will be hairclub IB

My experience with Hair Club I.B.. I was new to all this, didn't even know this was possible. I was recommended by my co-worker because she knows i have frizzy puffy crazy hair and I would always just try to squeeze everything in a huge bun.

Well, so i had thought about for a few days and decided to just go for it. I live at the end of Long Island, so it took awhile to get there, and once I got there, huge, clean looking salon, but many customers.

Well as soon as I walked in i was lead to go wash my hair, very friendly may I say, and after the wash I was sat down for maybe 5 mintues and they asked me many questions, if I had done any coloring, or any type of chemically processes done on my hair before. But i've never had done anything. So they told me the price, no suprise, exactly what my coworker had said and they started working on my hair.

After waiting with the cream in my hair for almost 40 minutes they came to test my hair and went to go wash my hair right out. Came back and sat back in my seat, and started drying my hair.

That's when I got very nervous, while drying my hair, it came out frizzier then before, and my hair just was a huge afro, so I had to ask is this the results. and they gave me a smile and said we didn't even start and told me not to worry. So after they fully dried my hair, I waited patiently while they were flat ironing small sections of my hair. Maybe took about 40 minutes of straightening, and I thought I was done.

But yet again, they told me we aren't done and they said it was time for a neutralizer and they put this other white cream on my hair, and left it in for about 10 minutes and they said last wash so i was feeling excited now that I was almost done. After the wash, they dried my hair again, and now when they dried my hair, it was frizzing up it was becoming very smooth and straight. It was perfectly straight and had such a nice shine to it. I was very happy with it

Although it took about 4 hours which i was notified from my coworker and took me about 2.5 hours to get there, it was all worth it at the end, Now after a week of the process done, my coworkers and I always laugh about how I didn't do this sooner and just always tried to stuff my hair into a huge bun. Now i just have it all down without having to worry about anything.
