Very bad and disappointing customer service!.
I am so disappointment and upset regarding the customer service in that store, Fast-Fix in the Queens Mall on Queens Bld !!! The way they talked to me and the way they tell me to shut up and to SSSHHHH ! Unbelievable and unacceptable! So disrespectful! You never say that to a customer! Right or wrong.
They ruined a ring that my mother gave me a at Christmas that she had for many years. This ring meant a lot to me coming from my mom. They made a mistake on the re-sizing and the woman knew a mistake was made. She asked me, my mom and my boyfriend to wait again longer to try to repair their mistake and they put some sort of beads inside my ring to try to reach the right size. The ring was still too big, the beads look ugly and they bother me. Knowing myself, I am always too nice and my mistake was that I kept my mouth shut, did not complain and paid. God I regret I did not say anything before because I am really not the kind of person to make a scene in public. I should have said something right away! But honestly I was so disappointed in what they did. I did not wear once the ring since Christmas because it did not fit me right. I was too shy since Christmas to go back and ask them if they could find a solution to repair what they did. But finally I took my courage and went back with the ring and explained to the owner (he was not there when it happened) and asked him if he could do something about it, What really upset me is that when I asked the lady if she remembered, she of course did as if she did not. Believe me everyone, she remembered! The owner did say he would look at it and unfortunately he said he was not sure he could repair it. But what hurt me the most is that he right away made me feel that I was not telling the truth, he immediately took the side of his employee and did not even try to listen to me. I could see in his eyes that he thought I was lying. How embarrassing! That was it! All the frustration I had inside me came out, I got really pissed off at them especially when he kept telling me to SSSHHHH, to shut up! How disrespectful! I left super mad and frustrated. That kind of situation never happened to me before in any store. In any case, you learn to stay calm and listen to your customer. That is what we call a good customer service!
So yes, I went there already before in the past 2-3 time and they did a good job. But now I know that when they mess it up, they don't know how to recognize their mistakes, they don't try to listen to you and try to make their customer happy so that they come back. On the opposite, they make you feel as if you were a fool and they make you shut up.
I had to write my story because future customers need to know this. I never write reviews online, I usually don't think it's cool, but those people really did not treat me well and professionally.
How disappointing... Really...
