WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!. I reserved Port Royal for a reception for my wedding and was disgusted that it was only one waitress that served 25 people. She was very slow and tables did not have any water although she was asked to bring it several times. Our orders when taken took too long to be served it took over an hour to receive or food including appetizers. When the food was brought out some people orders weren't placed so they had to wait, basically it was not a place i would go again. When it came time to pay for the bill all the tables were seperated and many mistakes were made some people were charged for things that was not ordered. IN OTHER WORDS I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR MORE THAN ONE OR TWO PERSONS AT A TIME.

Bring your knife, fork, a bib and a pair of boxing gloves. In an ocean of caribbean restaurants in Queens, I found Port Royal's found surprisingly unique, delicious, well prepared with great presentation.

Without hesitation i would gladly reccommend this restaurant to all that enjoy Jamaican cuisine, especially the kind of food that reminds those of Mama's Sunday home cooked food.

The only disappointment I discovered was with the attitude displayed by the restaurant hostess, and the delivery service man. Very angry, unaccomodating, with a strong amount of impatience and arrogance. Despite their hostility I will probably return, but this time ready for the battle. Over confidence can cause even the great ones to fall, so I highly recommend a mandatory employee training in customer service and customer appreciation.

Good food should be accompanied with good service and hospitality.
