Saloni is the best. Smita is a supreme eyebrow guru. I am so happy to have found this place. I must admit that I was really nervous to come here, but Smita took her time to explain what she was doing and clean up my previous disaster eyebrow experiment.

Best Threading!!!!!!!. Smita knows exactly what she is doing. I had horrible eyebrows with no shape from over plucking and waxing. When I came to her she told me to throw away my tweezers and see her every few weeks and thank god i listened. After 3 visits I now have a beautiful shape I never thought I could have. Also, she is extremely sweet and accommodating. Everyone must see her!!!

Love Threading. I used to get my eyebrows waxed, but they would get so irritated and stay read for hours. A friend of mine suggested I try threading, so I went to Saloni and absolutely loved it. made me look human again. my eyebrows were a train wreck when i came to saloni. she talked me through the process, how she would style and after just 1 month i look human again.

although this place is not in my budget, your face is priceless and there is no other place to go.

Awesome Threading. I have been searching for a good threading salon and this is it. My eyebrows are immaculate, the price is excellent and compared to other threading experiences it did not hurt at all.

Smita made my eyebrows extremely uniform and symmetrical something that can be a challenge with threading.

This is the best threading I have found in Manhattan.

I <3 Saloni. Smita has been threading my eyebrows for over a year now and I can't say enough positive things. They always come out perfectly shaped. (I get compliments on my eyebrows all the time!) Smita is great because she is very skilled and takes the time to figure out what shape will work best for your face. She is also incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I know that there are places that charge less but it's not worth the risk to me. With Smita I know that I don't have to worry about someone taking off too much or coming out with uneven eyebrows.

Most recently, I tried a sugar bikini wax. I know that bikini waxes can be awkward to get sometimes but the person made me feel very comfortable. It was quick, easy and relatively painless. I highly recommend!

Best Threading In NY. I have been coming to Saloni for three years and every person who has worked on my eyebrows has done a great job. I never have to worry about any of their stylists taking off too much eyebrow and for me that is worth any price. They really take their time to make sure your eyebrows are perfect. It's taken me a long time to write a review because I wanted to keep them all to myself but I want to make sure they make it through this economy.

Disappointed. I read all the great reviews and thought I'd try this place for eyebrow threading since it's so close to my work. The staff was incredibly nice, and the woman who did my eyebrows gave me great advice on how to keep up my brows. However, they hardly spent any time on me because they were so backed up with customers. When I got home and looked at the mirror I realized they missed a lot of spots. I had to pluck them myself, which obviously defeats the purpose of a $17 threading. I've had my brows threaded in other Union Square salons, and I've always been put under a bright light, and it always takes more than 3 minutes. Saloni was slightly dim I thought (to give off a cozy feel) but it's apparent that's how she missed so many hairs. I'm disappointed that I bought into all the rave reviews. I won't be going back anytime soon to get ripped off in these tough economic times.

I travel 3 hours to get my eyebrows done here. Hi, I have been going to Saloni for almost 2 years now. I travel 3 hours from outside the city, just to get them done here! I am very particular (I have very thick brows, and I like to have them shaped, but still thick....think Kim Kardasian, or Selma Hayek look) and everytime they do an amazing job! I do not come that often (about 5 weeks or so) and the girls always remember me and everthing I had told them from before! They are so nice their, the environment is great, and I really can't say enough good things about their service. I have only done my eyebrows with Smita and Maggie (LOVE them both!) and have yet to try a brazilian/other services here yet.

Only problem...... I do not trust anyone else to do my brows!

After having decades of uncountable bad experiences in eyebrow grooming, finding this place is a dream come true as they have given me a beautiful perfect shape everytime....so now? I take a 6 hour RT to NYC and pay the transportation there, because there is nobody else I would trust with my brows now! :-)

If you DO live in NYC, take advantage of this amazing little gem!
