Editorial Review for Tenjune – by Joanna Prisco
In Short
Dance your way around the bouncers and become part of this subterranean lounge's total VIP vibe. The intimate space is charged with sexual texture--zebra-prints, wavy woodgrains and marble accents, as well as walls of violet velvet in the semiprivate Purple Room. The horseshoe-shaped dance floor is driven by a stream of celebrity DJs (Lindsay Lohan and Diddy have both had turns), while others bob along from tiered, plush seating or pose at the leather-clad bar.

I have never seen such a shady place... Went there on the Labor day Sunday... Stood in the line for 1:30 hours with my girl friend...Didn't see many people going in and still they maintain a big line. They allowed a few people who took VIP table service or knew one of the bouncers. Later we asked if they had any intentions of letting people in.. They said only if you go for 2 bottle service for $750 s... Well that was for enough for us to leave... A lot of people left after that... and our girls were upset. Will some people did pay for table service after being frustrated in line for hours.. So if you guys have money or can plea bouncers ,,,you should go ! I felt the place was just trying to scam you for money.
Pros: decoration
Cons: Only People who go for bottle service

this review is coming very late, so things may well have changed. we went to tenjune in december and it was one of the most fun nights i've had all year. granted the group i was with was pretty crazy (3 wild guys, 3 very pretty girls who dance well), which probably explains it, but i think it's a great place if you like to dance. the space itself isn't all that impressive, but the music was very good, and we had a small area to ourselves since we got a bottle (originally we were supposed to get in for free w/ 2 guys, 2 girls, when we showed up w/ an extra couple the door guy required a bottle to get in, which we didn't mind too much for 6 ppl). the ppl at the tables next to us were very friendly, and the staff inside didn't have a problem w/ us dancing on the couches/tables etc. if you're into that. i have, however, heard multiple horror stories of the door guy being a d*ck, so if you don't want to deal w/ the hassle of getting in, don't feel at all like you're missing out.
Pros: good music, great dancing environment
Cons: door
