Dance your way around the bouncers and become part of this subterranean lounge's total VIP vibe. The intimate space is charged with sexual texture--zebra-prints, wavy woodgrains and marble accents, as well as walls of violet velvet in the semi-private Purple Room. The horseshoe-shaped dance floor is driven by a stream of celebrity DJs (Lindsay Lohan and Diddy have both had turns), while others bob along from the comfort of tiered, plush seating or pose at the leather-clad bar.

Be Careful!!

Came to this club on a Friday at a suggestion of a local. It was my college roomate's 40th birthday and she felt extra special as we were able to move up the line thanks to some young guy with a VIP table. The night was fun until the end of the night when we closed out our tab. Understanding that NYC is know for it's expensive cocktails, I signed out my bill and was on my way. It wasn't until the following Monday I noticed I was charged twice from my account, once without the tip and the a second time for the entire bill plus the tip removing almost $200 from my account. When I called the number provided someone said they would look into and never got back to me, I'm still waiting for my money to be returned. This is bad buisness as it's a form of robbery. I'm hoping by the end of the work day today for my funds to be returned including the tip. Terrible and sheisty!!! BE CAREFUL! I will be extra cautious at any club and more often use cash!!

We are visiting from CA, and decided last Thursday to follow the concierge's advice and go to Tenjune. The line was long, it was cold and the door is really tough. The concierge at our hotel was really good and he gave us the contacts of this guy Erez who works for the club, and so we called him up. This guy met us outside, put us on the guest list, and before you know it we cut through the 30 minute line straight into the VIP area!!! . we had a BLAST and partied till 6am!

Erez took us to a different club every night for a week and had the same deal!!!

FRAUD AT TENJUNE, SL....BEWARE IF YOU PAY WITH CREDIT CARD

I've been to Tenjune many times. Recently I also went to SL, the newer club owned by the same owners. They also own the club @ W Hoboken. 2 things worthy of note:

1) If you buy a drink at the bar and use a credit card to pay for it, they will run the amount of the drink price you owe PLUS 20 %. Many establishments do that but here is the kicker. THE RECEIPT WILL NOT NOTE THIS AND THERE WILL BE A LINE FOR TIP. Unsuspecting customers will pay the usual 15 to 20% and they will end up with 35% TO 40% TIP ON TOP OF THE PRICE OF THE DRINK WHICH IS OVERPRICED TO BEGIN WITH!!!! THIS IS FRAUD. THEY ARE NOT MAKING IT TRANSPARENT TO THE CUSTOMER THAT A 20% TIP HAS BEEN ADDED.

2) If you purchase a bottle as I have done on many a occasion, they will charge the price of the bottle and 20% gratuity which is fair as it is made transparent before you buy. THEY WILL TACK ON A 4.5% FEE FOR MANAGEMENT SERVICES-TOTALLY BOGUS FEE ON THE BACK END-ALSO FRAUDULENT AS NEVER MADE TRANSPARENT. This can be rather large as amounts for ordering bottles can add up to thousands of dollars.

EUGENE REMM AND MARK BIRNBAUM SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR RIPPING OF UNSUSPECTING PAYING CUSTOMERS. THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR SUCH PRACTICES AND INDEED THE NY STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. This practice holds true for all 3 of their establishments.....
