Dance your way around the bouncers and become part of this subterranean lounge's total VIP vibe. The intimate space is charged with sexual texture--zebra-prints, wavy woodgrains and marble accents, as well as walls of violet velvet in the semiprivate Purple Room. The horseshoe-shaped dance floor is driven by a stream of celebrity DJs (Lindsay Lohan and Diddy have both had turns), while others bob along from tiered, plush seating or pose at the leather-clad bar.

I went there in April 2008 with my friend (we are both models and very attractive). I can't remember what I asked the bouncer but it wasn't rude and he FLIPPED out on me. I said "I don't know what I said to offend you but you need to relax". He said he wasn't going to let me in. I've never waited in line at a bar in my life and wasn't going to start then. (I'm not conceited, I just think it's a waste of time to wait in line somewhere) Well, one of the other bouncers was really nice and he told me to come around to the other side and that he would take care of us, which he did. They then allowed us up into the VIP sections, which if you ask me, if you're paying for a VIP section at Tenjune, you're wasting your money. There was about 100 people in a VERY narrow area. It was so crowded in this place, it was ridiculous. Why would I want to stand shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of sweaty wannabe's? This place is way overrated. Honestly, I am not sure why anyone would waste their time here. We left after only about 15 minutes...which is why I don't wait in lines!! Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. Cielo was right down the street and I had a fabulous time there!
Pros: Ok ambience if it wasn't waaaaay over capacity.
Cons: it looks like every other bar i've ever been to. Nothing special, rude doorman, horrible crowd!

Tenjune hasnt missed a beat. The only people who say Tenjune isnt hot anymore are the people that still cant get in. From the music, to the drinks, to all the beauiful ladies, this place is a must. Door is tight so make sure you know how to get in
