In Short – Spots without scenes are few and far between in this neighborhood, but the low-key, no-crowd vibe at this lounge fills the void. The sunken, gold-dipped room, with amber candlelight and electronica in the background, is a no-hassle place to get amped for nearby dancing or to unwind afterward. Thankfully, the gourmet bar menu (think cheese fondue fries and honey-glazed chicken sliders) doesn't overdo the sweet namesake ingredient, and neither does the list of signature martinis.

Treated horribly by bouncers/staff

by RazorfishNY at Citysearch

Pass on this bar... A friend of mine had a huge birthday party there (100+) and generously added a significant amount of money to the staffs pockets ($1000's+)However, we were all treated horribly by the bouncers. Of course after the night's tally came in they immediately called him the next day and asked if he'd like to have his Holiday Party there... LMAO... he said no, he'll never be back

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: After they realize you have money they want you back

My friend's birthday was a horrible experience here!!!!!

by suz25f at Citysearch

We all gathered at Honey for my friend's birthday party and paid $45 each for open bar for two hours. Even though we had a private space right next to the bar, we could never get the bartenders to serve us. Granted it was a busy night, but to never wait on our side of the bar at all? You would think that someone's birthday party that brought 35 people into your bar would merit a bit more attention. At 1230a, we were told that the open bar was closed (even though it was supposedly for two hours). So in summary I paid $45 for two bad glasses of wine. Shame me once, shame on you....I will never be going back to Honey. Trust me when I tell you that you shouldn't either. And to the manager of this establishment, get your act together.
