In Short
Set up like an 18th century French salon with an Asian lattice ceiling, a medieval fireplace mantel, and massive Warhol originals adorning the walls, this swanky bar is a mishmash of styles, but somehow, it works. It's the kind of tucked-away luxury that attracts the A-list: Wealthy locals, important hotel guests and lots of celebs. The cocktail list poses modern updates to classic concoctions, and gentlemanly matches can be had at a red-felt, smoked-wood pool table.

Hits: An impressive cocktail menu features specialties like the spiced mango martini, pineapple and cinnamon mojito, and the Long Berry (raspberries and blackberries with fresh lemon juice, raspberry vodka and Prosecco).

Misses: No one is guaranteed admission to this highly exclusive spot--and that includes hotel guests--but if you do get in, be prepared to drop some serious cash: Cocktails start at $19.

If you are going to spend 23$ on a small glass of wine, they need to at least offer a good one. Staff is abnoxious. Don't be fooled. If you are a guest, and even when it is practically empty, they won't let you in without a reservation. Seriously save your time and money. They are just not that special.

Went there during Holiday season with my wife to enjoy a few glasses of wine. Raining outside, we were greeeted at the cab with an umbrella and brought right inside. It was a quiet evening by the fireplace. Had a few drinks and relaxed, would definitely go back. Tad expensive, but in line with NY prices

Was just there and it was pretty well dead. Looks okay for a business drink or if you just want to sit and talk in a quiet setting with friends, but if you're looking for a scene, it's moved on.
