Efficient and Careful. I have moved four times in the last six years and usually moving is very stressful for me. In the past when I’ve moved I’ve always paid more than I was quoted and ended up with broken things. I was pleasantly surprised when I hired these guys to move me on my last move from Astoria to Jersey City. They came wrapped my furniture, packed my hanging clothes and TV, and were done by mid afternoon. Nothing broken! Even better they charged me exactly what I was quoted and I even had a few more boxes than I had estimated initially. I know who I will be calling when its time for me to move again!…
Great movers. This company was recommended by my management company and their prices seemed good, so we gave them a shot. I was away at a work conference on the day of my move, so my husband had to deal with the movers on his own. I was so worried about not being there, but was so, so happy to hear from my husband that the move went completely smoothly. He found the movers to be hard working and professional. I have some expensive furntiture and was so happy that nothing got damaged. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better moving company.…

I called Sterling Movers after searching reviews online and deciding that they were the most well reviewed. I was still apprehensive, I had never hired movers before and had heard horror stories, but
decided to trust Sterling. I'm so glad I did. I called them just five days before our move in date and Stefan was great to work with, he scheduled our move and was responsive with my questions. The guys showed up to our one bedroom apt in Astoria at 8am and we were moved in (to be fair, it was just a few blocks away) by 11am. I could not believe how quick they were, while still taking care of our things (none of our furniture was scratched and only one plate out of countless fragile items broke, but I'm pretty sure that's our fault for not packing that box well enough).
They were extremely polite, really nice guys, and I was so impressed by how efficiently they surveyed our stuff and moved it all out and in. I will never go back to moving myself (usually a two day process) ever again. Well worth the cost.…

If you are looking for movers these guys are great. I have used a couple of different movers over the years but have to say they all pale in comparison to Sterling. They moved me in record time,
moving day have always been a full day affair but these guys had me moved in by 2pm!
