Efficient and Careful. I have moved four times in the last six years and usually moving is very stressful for me. In the past when I’ve moved I’ve always paid more than I was quoted and ended up with broken things. I was pleasantly surprised when I hired these guys to move me on my last move from Astoria to Jersey City. They came wrapped my furniture, packed my hanging clothes and TV, and were done by mid afternoon. Nothing broken! Even better they charged me exactly what I was quoted and I even had a few more boxes than I had estimated initially. I know who I will be calling when its time for me to move again!

Great movers. This company was recommended by my management company and their prices seemed good, so we gave them a shot. I was away at a work conference on the day of my move, so my husband had to deal with the movers on his own. I was so worried about not being there, but was so, so happy to hear from my husband that the move went completely smoothly. He found the movers to be hard working and professional. I have some expensive furntiture and was so happy that nothing got damaged. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better moving company.

best move yet. I called Sterling Movers after searching reviews online and deciding that they were the most well reviewed. I was still apprehensive, I had never hired movers before and had heard horror stories, but decided to trust Sterling. I'm so glad I did. I called them just five days before our move in date and Stefan was great to work with, he scheduled our move and was responsive with my questions. The guys showed up to our one bedroom apt in Astoria at 8am and we were moved in (to be fair, it was just a few blocks away) by 11am. I could not believe how quick they were, while still taking care of our things (none of our furniture was scratched and only one plate out of countless fragile items broke, but I'm pretty sure that's our fault for not packing that box well enough).

They were extremely polite, really nice guys, and I was so impressed by how efficiently they surveyed our stuff and moved it all out and in. I will never go back to moving myself (usually a two day process) ever again. Well worth the cost.

Job well done!. If you are looking for movers these guys are great. I have used a couple of different movers over the years but have to say they all pale in comparison to Sterling. They moved me in record time, moving day have always been a full day affair but these guys had me moved in by 2pm!

This was absolutely the best moving experience I have had. Everyone was conscientious hard working and nice. I will recommend Sterling to everyone.

Pros no cons. I have used several movers over the years both moving within NYC and also cross country. The guys at Sterling are in a league of their own I could not be more pleased with my choice. My only regret is that I didn?t find them sooner. The service I received from Sterling was top notch before, during and after my move. I cannot speak more highly about them.

Sterling Moving are Number 1.. I hired these guys based on the reviews found on Citysearch. I was very happy with the whole experience it was very relaxed. The crew were hard working and approachable. I have already recommended them to a colleague who was also very satisfied.

Best movers in NYC. Sterling moving are by far the best moving company in the city. I have moved more times than care to remember and have had a couple of less than desirable experiences. It seems that which ever company you choose the actual move is solely dependant on the crew you get. My crew led by Sabi were experienced quick and just nice guys. You shouldn’t think about moving without calling Sterling movers.

Top Rate Moving. I hired these guys for a move last January after the snow storm and I think I made the best choice. The movers arrived on time despite the 19 inches of snow from the previous day and didn’t complain that my super hadn’t done a good job clearing the snow; they even had shovels with them and cleared some so they could get to work immediately. The crew was the most experienced I have ever seen and worked tirelessly throughout the entire move, moving my 1 bedroom apartment in about 6 hours. I would like to thank Charlie and his crew for a job well done.

Easiest Move Ever. Sterling Movers were the most professional, amiable and courteous movers I have ever had. They worked with remarkable efficiency and were able to negotiate tight stairways in my 4th floor walk up without any problems.

Painless move. I had never used professional moving company before and was a little nervous about the whole process. I found Sterling movers on Citysearch and called them. I was very satisfied with the service I received from my first call they put me at ease and told what to expect and provided me with a flat rate quote.

The move was relatively painless and all my stuff arrived in one piece and within the time slot my building had allotted. I will definitely recommend Sterling to any one who needs a quality mover.
