Wonderful Moving Experience!

Sterling Moving exceeded my expectations. Stefan, my sales rep, was extremely helpful over the phone. He sent a very experienced crew to load up our belongings. They dismantled furniture, packed fragile items (TVs, computers, etc), wrapped everything to protect it. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and were very personable. We stored our things for 3 months with Sterling waiting for the closing of our new house. Once we were ready, they showed up at our new house on time, on the date that we requested. The movers unpacked quickly and set up everything they had taken apart.

I highly recommend Sterling Moving for their personal service and care to detail. I have moved 4 times in the last 10 years and can truly say that Sterling Moving is the best moving company I have ever encountered.

Great job!

My friend gave me Sterling’s number and said that they did an awesome job for them when they moved. But they moved from a swanky NYC apartment to a home out in CT, and I was just moving from a 1-bedroom out in Brooklyn to a small apartment uptown so I thought that I wouldn’t be able to afford them. So, I still shopped around just in case. These guys still came in competitively price-wise, which was a nice surprise.

My friend was right. They were awesome. They showed up on time on the scheduled moving date & did everything that Stephen, the guy that came to estimate the job beforehand, said they'd do—and they did it quickly, efficiently & without any attitude. Bobby, esp. was really sweet and polite, and they all worked really hard (and in the rain too because it was pouring). Thanks guys!

Was Pretty Happy With Them

Ok so we hired Sterling at rather short (3 day notice) and they gave us a decent price and showed up on time and did the job thoroughly, helping to do some light packing and setting up stuff at the new apt. There were a few broken plates, which was probably the result of my poor packing and I was a bit bugged by the 'expected' 30% tip which was immediately 'explained' upon their arrival, which I would have liked to have known about in advance. After the tip they worked out to be essentially the same price as quoted by Flat Rate (if the Flat Rate costs had really been without any extra costs). Generally pleased, and I'd probably use them again... under six hours for a 2BR apt moved 25 blocks.

• Cons: 30% tip, a few broken pieces
