In Short – If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, logic dictates that fabulous frames are a must. Fortunately, the eyewear-obsessed owner and namesake of the boutique has amassed an enormous collection from which to choose. The mostly vintage assortment (Christian Dior gold circular, Cartier aviators and other Hollywood-esque designs by Cazal, Nina Ricci and Gianni Versace, among others) is displayed on glass shelves and a giant antique dining table surrounded by brick red and cream decor.

fantastic service and range of eyewear. linda offers a most memorable shopping experience every time with her humor, sense of style and fashion vision (no pun intended), and honesty. my wife, friends, and i always walk out feeling pretty great (regardless of whether or not we make a purchase), which is why we keep going back!

this is officially my favorite store. i went in there a few weeks ago, doubting that i would find anything i like. but was i wrong! i fell in love with everything! i had a particular style in mind to buy as my prescription glasses, but Linda and her staff showed me otherwise. I realized that there were actually many other options that I can choose from, especially at Linda Derector's. its about what looks good on me and what feels comfortable for me. Linda of course was an expert at finding the perfect glasses for me, the asian girl was cute and nice and the optician, Carlos was a real professional. The whole staff participated in helping me find the right pair. Their goal is obviously to satisfy the customers! i will def recommend everyone to go Linda Derector for their next pair of glasses.

Linda is such a sweetheart. Very patient and prof. The staff is equally impressive. One of the only places in NY that still do adjustments properly. A beautiful store with beautiful frames.
