I had already done the big name Madison Avenue boutiques for my friends' weddings. I knew I wanted something more unique and more intimate. How special to be able to work directly with the designer each and every visit. Angelo was so lovely, accommodating & talented! He knew how to tailor the dress perfectly to fit my figure and was completely open to my suggestions. The dress was truly beautiful! He and his sweet assistant, Laura are so hospitable. They welcome their guests with hugs, music, wine & conversation. My friends couldn't wait to go back with me. Angelo & his boutique were definitely the most enjoyable part of planning a wedding.
Pros: work directly with designer

before visiting angelo, i was dreading the whole process of being a bride-to-be - I had visited other wedding dress boutiques, and I had encountered what could be expected - curt and somewhat friendly, but money-grubbing sales people; annoying, overly-picky fiancees who had overly-high expectations; high prices for mediocre dresses. then i met angelo and i realized that having a great wedding planning experience is highly dependent on who you work with - he was fun to work with, loved what he was doing, and had a lot of ideas - his dresses are customly made to fit your body, your personality and your price range. furthermore, he was able to mediate between the wants of my mother (someone with bridezilla sensibilities) and me (anti-bride), ultimately creating an elegant and creative dress that made both of us very happy. his dresses are also great for women who want to wear their dresses again in their lifetime - I plan to go back and have my dress made into a cocktail dress by dying it and having it shortened. if you like what you're reading, GO TO ANGELO!
