“All in all good fun -- a good place to start the night.”
“Dirty Disco seemed just like any other bar in NYC - except for the $15 cover, $13 drinks, $5 water and obnoxious security.”

“Beautiful people, expensive drinks.”
My Saturdays. I'm not sure why people are even complaining about Dirty Disco. I'm usually in the Meatpacking on the weekends whether if it's for a friend's birthday or just jumping from places to places. Dirty Disco is always a good option for something more chilled and none of the pretentious door. If you are someone that wrote a bad review about the door then you shouldn't be in here. First off, you never speak to the security guys, you go directly to the doorman. I think his name is Ben. It's simple, dress well and you will get in...nothing more, nothing less. The music is always GREAT!! If you are in the area, I would RECOMMEND checking out Dirty Disco even just for a drink.
Horrible customer service at the door.
i'm not sure who this "Monicadelosa" is who challenged my review but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Now firstly, you must be the Invisible Woman because there was no way my girlfriend and i was able to get past the security to get to the doorman unless we had inviso powers. Secondly, there was no doorman nor manager avaiable from what the 2 men outside said. There was one big brotha and one older white guy at the door letting people in. Both would not allow us inside to view the club unless we paid. Understand that we went to another venue earlier that evening and the security escorted us to the manager and we were showed around without a problem. Also understand that we asked the 2 gentlemen to call the manager for us to speak to him/her. That was when the security implied that we were making the story up just to get in. And lastly, we weren't trying to get in to party...we were trying to scout the venue in order to have a party there. Why would security not allow us to speak with a manager? If their manager knew that happened he would probably fire them both. We were gonna spend some serious bread up in there...oh well their loss.
Anyhow, i would never go there again...there are hundreds of clubs/lounges were you would be treated better at the door. For example Sutra and Level V...as a matter of fact, Level V is a more trendy and exclusive spot and they even showed us around and brought the manager to our attention.
PEOPLE...YOU MAY GO AND PARTY THERE AND THAT'S FINE BUT TRUST ME, IF YOU'RE GOING TO SPEND SOME REAL MONEY...SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Perfect Birthdays. My roommate and I planned our 26th birthday at Dirty Disco and we can't be more pleased. We had a small dinner party at Vento in the Meatpacking and headed over after. We called up two weeks prior and reserved the back booth. It was 20 of us and we were promised that everyone would be comp and the club honored it. The doorman was super friendly, which surprised us. All of our guests go in without a problem. We bought 3 bottles and the owner came over and comp us a free bottle. Overrall we were really happy that everything went smoothly without any problems. Thank you Dirty Disco!!
Really good music. If you are out and about in the Meatpacking and don't really want to do the whole club scene, then Dirty Disco is a perfect and easy choice. More of a lounge then club, it's definitely one of the few places that doesn't have the whole pretentious vibe. The crowd is good, average, but friendly...no pushing around, etc.
Overrall Great. Had a birthday party at Dirty Disco and could not rave about it more. From the time I called for a reservation till the night ended they made a great effort to take care of me. We had a great table, an exceptional service and the dj was on point all night. It's great to go to a hot club and not get the typical attitude most places give you. The bartenders actually look like they are having fun and act they they are doing you a favor by serving you. Highly recommend check it out.
To be avoided at all costs!. Quite simply this place was over crowded with a very young crowd who all seemed to come equipped with a sheer lack of manners. There was lots of pushing and shuving and as a consequence our evening at Dirty Disco lasted all of thirty minutes. Poor door management and lack of bar staff just made the whole affair a complete non event.
One of my favorites!!!. I was brought here a few months ago, and since then I've been hooked. i love to dance to anything, but having an awesome beat helps a ton. The DJ spins some great music, and the dance floor is packed every time i go. If you feel that upstairs is getting too crowded for your tastes- head downstairs and it's less hectic. I dropped by last night and Rodger is a super cool bartender who chilled with me while my friend and i waited for the crowd to thicken. The party planners are awesome, the bouncers are fun, the bartenders are some of my favorites in the city, and even the cot check girl is cool! I'm aiming to setup a party there soon, so you can feel how much i love this place right?
Saturday - Dirty Disco. Dirty Disco is the ideal place to have a private party. We called up two weeks prior to book a joint birthday party for 80 guests. The event planner recommend that we reserve the downstairs. We also did a two hours open bar from 10pm - 12am, which only cost us $40/per person. The night of the party, everything went super smooth. The doorman made sure our guests were in quickly. The DJ played all the usual mix which everyone was happy about. Everything went great and I would recommend this club to anyone.
Party Heaven. I had my cousin's 25th birthday at Dirty Disco this past weekend and could not be happier. The atmosphere was fun and the place was jumping. Everyone in our group thought the service was friendly and the staff pleasant. We ordered bottle service and had a private booth area that was perfect. Seems to me the people complaining about pricing and bottle service have never been to a club in NYC before, they obviously don't have a clue. Oh well, I guess its better for the people that know how to have a good time that they stay away!!
Crazy Great Time!. I had my birthday party at Dirty Disco and it was great!. All my guests got in with no issues, the DJ spun a great mix, the crowd was good. This place is a great alternative to the big club scene. ' If you are looking for a hassle free time on a Fri or Sat night, I would recommend this place & I am not an easy girl to please! :)
