Alan ... Extraordinaire. I have been going to Alan for about 30 years, even after I relocated to Philly! He's a tremendous person and a skilled craftsman. I can always count on him to deliver whatever I need done to my hair and beard at the time. His presence (not to mention his photography) transforms any environment into a welcoming, comfortable respite. What more can one ask for?

In my book, Alan is the best.
Alan has cut and colored my hair for about 30 years. He
not only places his full attention on each client but he
takes pride in making certain that he "gets it right" and
pleases each individual. So, a trip to Robert G. to have
Alan work his magic is knowing that you will leave happy
with how you look. The bonus is that Alan is one of the
nicest people I know. He has a quiet, laid- back manner
but he is knowledgeable about a million things and happy
to talk about any of them. In other words, Alan is the
best !

Try Dominick for Perfect Cuts and Color. Ask for Dominick for perfect haircuts and classy color. He listens, advises, and cares. He always sees that the cut is right for my hair and that the color is me. The salon is charming, upscale but unpretentious, a comfortable place with a warm, engaging staff. I feel pampered and thrilled with the services each and every time.

Fit for a Queen.
I found this lovely hair salon four years ago upon arriving in NYC and fell madly in love. The intoxicating aroma of shampoo and hair gel fills the air. The Robert G Salon is not only a place to receive a fabulous do or a shimmering new color it is a neighborhood homey venue to sip a glass of wine and engage in a stimulating convo.
I leave Robert G's feeling like a different girl each time because my hair always gets a little make over. I love the colors, cuts, styles and you can even get a quick wax or mini facial in between. Call today!

Only if you want uneven hair. This was a rip off! I went in for half highlights and hair cut. I was told the haircut would cost $110 and my half head of highlights that was only one color, was $209! On top of that the so called $110 haircut that Robert gave me was 1 1/2" (I measured it) difference on both sides and I had to go back in to get it fixed! The explanation was that my hair was curled when it was dried but I would hope that hair stylists can see a difference of an 1 1/2" when it was wet! So the trim I asked for stating no more than 1/2" off cost me almost 3"! (again I measured from where my hair was before I walked in there) Do not go to Robert (the owner)

Love it!. Got my hair highlighted by Dominic today and was so happy with the results. He took the time to really listen to what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new stylist to check this place out. Everyone here is very professional and warm. I'll definitely be going back!

Always a great cut. Dominick's been cutting my hair for fifteen years. I followed him from his former shop to this one. Everyone at Robert G is relaxed and pleasant. They're all young and hip, which I'm not, but there's no attitude, just friendliness (and cookies). Dominick's cuts are great; he never makes it look like you Just Had Your Hair Done. You walk out of there looking natural and also at your best, a great combination. Highly recommended.

Watch Dominick. On a heritage street in Greenwich Village, two doors down from a cookie emporium, is the elegant Robert G Salon. Ask for Dominick Bluni. For the last 20 years Dominick has cut my hair. I have followed him through various styles and two locations and I’ve always been thrilled. He takes the time to listen and create a look that is classic but also manageable.

Very Happy. Marcus has been doing my hair for about 2 years now and I've never once been disappointed. He is very talented and knowledgeable when it comes to hair. He has taken me from brown to blonde and back again and I always leave LOVING my hair. Great color - great cut- great styling. He also listens to what you want, so if you ask for a trim you get a trim. Another reason I love going to Robert G is because everyone else there is so nice and friendly. The salon is clean - people are great - service is great!!!
