This Broadway playhouse is in the heart of midtown's theater row. – Of the seven theaters on theater row, the Schoenfeld stands right in the middle. This mid-sized venue (which opened its door in October 1917) has been home to plays and musicals, including "Nicholas Nickleby" and "The Real Thing." Avoid the first row of the mezzanine: a railing blocks the view of the stage. The best seats are center orchestra.
