DANGER THIEVES. DO NOT SHOP HERE
by AngryVictim
They deliberately and coldly short-changed me $10 dollars. There were two of us there who watched it happen, and yet the cashiers refused to admit it, even lying to the police when they stopped by.
Even if the food was amazing, nothing would be worth that despicable treatment.
- Pros: fairly tasty pastries
- Cons: Cashiers steal your money
Best curry buns in the whole world
by kmc687
Every time I visit chinatown, i come to dragon land. I always order the beef curry buns, which are so heavenly I can't even describe the deliciousness of them. The bread as well as the filling are 100% perfect. I also branch out every time and try something new, which is always delicious, but never as good as the curry buns. The fancy cakes at the front counter are also extremely delicious and very very well priced. The same cakes elsewhere in manhattan would be like $6 but here they are almost all under $2. Oh and the curry buns are like $1 a piece and 2 always fill me up. The best dessert I've had is the strawberry mousse cake. I also always get the packaged coconut soymilk, but I haven't tried any of the bakery made specialty drinks yet. I highly recommend dragon land bakery.
- Pros: cheap and delicious
- Cons: crowded and cash only
Cute Bakery, Limited Selection
by b00pi3flak3s
There are so many Chinese bakeries in the area, what makes this location so special? The lack of crowds and good drinks make this a good place to be. If there is any knock is the fact their pastries are not covered or protected from the outside elements.
- Pros: Prices, Service, Drinks
- Cons: Variety, Cash Only
