What People Are Saying About Brinkley's

Prepped-out, 20-something young execs fill this American brasserie nightly, sliding into wide wooden booths and sipping wine at comfy banquettes. A vaulted, tin ceiling casts a glow on candlelit tables and heaping plates touched by Italian and French influence. The menu's most-ordered entrees include chicken paillard made with grapes and manchego, and New York strip steak served with fries. Many appetizers--save for specialties like lobster bisque--can also be ordered as main courses.
Editor's Tips
- Late Night Dining:
- The full dinner menu is served until 2am.
- Brunch:
- On weekend mornings and afternoons, enjoy a prix frixe $20 meal that includes any egg dish (omelette or benedict) with a specialty cocktail.
- Where to Sit:
- An elevated table in the back seats 12 and has a sweeping view of the entire restaurant.

Food is forgettable, prices are reasonable, owner is a jerk
by ava228
We recently tried Brinkley's and had an amazing artichoke soup but an unpleasant experience with one of the owners (Anthony Maritignetti) and his friends. I was sitting with my little sister and her friend from college, waiting for our food, when Mr. Martignetti and his friends starting leering and crudely talking about my sister, debating whether or not she was "hot enough" to pick up. It was cruel. As a public figure, he should be as mindful of his behavior as he is about his menu.

Had a great time, Good Food Great Place

I had family in from out of town last week. We brought the kids and family members to Brinkley's for dinner. None of us expected much but we were very plesantly suprised. The food was very hearty and everyone, from the kids to grandparents enjoyed. This place is not the old bar martignetti, it is the new brinkley's.
- Pros: it's NOT bar martignetti
Promising New Place

I'm suprised to read the other reviews here but we did go on a slower sunday night so I'm sure our experience was different. Our waitress let us know about their vegetarian dish for the night which we ordered. Needed a little salt but it was creative and filling. Maybe this is a new policy they've started. The entire staff was nice and friendly even though it was a slow night. I'm sure they have some kincks to work out but overall idea is there. I'll give it a shot again.
- Pros: Staff and Comfortable Atmosphere
- Cons: Work in Progress
Delicious Food and Fabulous Service

After having a little bit of trauma with our first trip to Brinkley's (no vegetarian options and an unaccomidaing manager) we received an appology from the GM and decided to give Brinkley's another try.
Both the food and the service were incredible. The pate was DELICIOUS, as was both the vegetarian cranberry bean entre in a truffle sauce (who knew veggies could be so tasty) and the artichoke soup which was an awesome combination of a thick artichoke base and a french onion soup-like cheesy topping.
Prices on the menu are all very reasonable (an entre and an app will run you ~$25), and the foods are all from local farms and are incredibly fresh. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive.
As we had expected before our first experience at Brinkely's - this will become a regular spot for us!
