In Short
At this bright spot for Italian sandwiches, panini and (you guessed it) bruschetta, everything is miniature and authentic. The space fits an open kitchen and 20 lime-green folding chairs made from Italian leather. Diners sip wine from stemless Riedell glasses, munch on salads like seared tuna mixed with arugula, carrots, olives, hard-boiled eggs and vinaigrette, and dig into shareable plates of exotic bruschetta. The house specialty is topped with Fontina cheese and caramelized onions.

I almost didn't want to write this review, because I hate to let my secret out. Bruschetteria is a cozy, intimate oasis on the Lower East Side. A private atmosphere and friendly service complement a unique, delicious menu. It's the only place I know of where you can order different kinds of bruschetta for appetizer, entree, and even dessert! Thank you for such a memorable dining experience!!!

i went to this place for lunch on the weekend and it was great! the salads are huge and have very interesting ingredients. i got the one with chorizo sausage and goat cheese while my friend got one with seared tuna and they were really nice when she wanted to substitute one ingredient for another. i saw some of the paninis at our neighbor's table and they looked absolutely to die for. going back tonight for dinner! going to try out some of the wines this time.
