Great Happy Hours. For the previous ppl that wrote about the rude bartenders/incompetent waiters, i'd like to say that the staff have changed a lot since and they're now super friendly.

Its a great spot for business lunch and happy hour drinks between co-workers.

They have a great specials every day! Plus ladies get buy one get one every day of the week! Can't beat that. I honestly do not know of another bar that does that and have lots of cute guys to look at at the same time.

I had the chance to eat a few dish and the food was great. I personally recommend the Tomato, avocado and corn salad, the burgers and the wings.

They have a great selection of drinks also. House wine (which is not bad at all) is $5 so are the cocktails. Some of the draft beers are $4.

Great drinks and staff!. Not only does this venue have a nice ambiance, their cocktails are good and their staff is attentive and genuine. What could have easily turned into a terrible experience, was made into a memorable one when my wallet was returned to me by the manager himself.

Not only was I unaware I had lost it, it was a very expensive wallet, which was holding a substantial amount of cash and it was returned to me with not a cent less. It is refreshing to know that there are still some honorable people out there and it is definitely reassuring that Suspenders is a place where one can come, kick back and know they are in good hands!

Great spot for after work drinks/ food. I always go to suspenders after work with my co-workers. They have great food and amazing drink specials I highly recommend Suspenders!!!!

Great Place to Drink downtown. I do not usually hang out in the financial district, but if i do i go straight to my go-to Suspenders. The people who work here are always extremely friendly, the drinks are very strong, and the food is always great. Everytime i go there, even though it isn't that often, they always remember me and always treat me VIP. 100% my go to downtown.

I love Suspenders!!!. Suspenders has the best happy hour special in the city!! The food is delicious, the staff friendly, and the cliental very attractive!!! I come here all the time. I love how it is so hidden. It makes me feel cool just knowing about it!! I highly recommend Suspenders!!!!

worst, ruddest most unattantive bartender,place looks dirty. WHEN I GO TO A BAR FOR A QUICK DRINK YOU DO NOT EXPECT MUCH, JUST A COLD DRINK, BUT WHEN IT COMES WITH A RUDE, NASTY, UNATTENTIVE BARTENDER, ( AND THE PLACE WAS NOT EVEN BUSY)WELL, IT TOTALLY RUINS IT, I HAD NEVER HAD THE SERVICE WORSE THAN I HAD FROM SUSPENDERS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE AN ESTABLISHMENT IN A BETTER MOOD NOT THE WORST. STAY AWAY!!!

RUDEST BARTENDER IN NYC. One of the rudest female bartenders in the city. I'm not sure how this place does any business with this woman behind the bar. She was rude from the very beginning without provacation! Will never go back!

Great happy hour and food. I was in here recently and has excellent experience. A couple of coworkers and I went here to have some drinks after work and were pleasently suprised. They offered great drink deals and have excellent food to munch on after a long day at work.

Never eat in the outside area!!!!! Horrible.. Never had worse service in a Manhattan restaurant than at one of the outdoor tales. On a beautiful summer weekend day, we stopped for a late lunch at one of the outdoor tables because the weather was so nice. Turned out to be a terrible decision. Every single table was irate with the horrible service. One guy had to ask THREE times just for a cup of coffee, they finally brought it AFTER he was finished with his brunch, 30 minutes after he'd originally asked. Another table was served lunch, then had to actually walk up to the wait station to ask for silverware, and the staff then acted annoyed. Another table complained they'd been waiting almost 40 minutes for lunch. Servers were rude, untrained, unorganized, and basically uncaring. A few times they wandered around with food asking "is this yours?" to all the different tables until finally someone would say yes. We all had to ask several times for the check. On top of it, the food was overpriced and they automatically add 18% gratuity to all checks (even for 2 people), so you cant even do anything about the service. Big black mark on an otherwise great day in the city.
