I got from groupon 6 velashape treatments and I'm very happy with this place. The office is nice and clean and everybody what works there is friendly. My technician for my velashape has great skills and she really knows what she is doing. I had it done before somewhere else, but I wasn't as happy. Thank you

I am finishing my 6th laser treatment with Allure today. I am very pleased with the results. my underarms have been almost clear after the first session and I'm also doing full legs and they are pretty good too. I have not had any bad experiences with the technicians..

The receptionist was very accommodating allowing me to use my Voucher Deal for another area being that I bought 6 sessions but after 3 I was completely clear. I have only good things to say about them. so much so that I bought an additional 6 sessions for my daughter too.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I have to agree with other reviewers, this place is so awesome I almost do not want anyone else to know about. I called on a Tuesday and was able to receive an appointment for the next day!!

I went here after a suggestion from a friend to visit allure in Astoria.

Atmosphere - A very nice and clean space. All white with a minimalist feel to it. where treatments are held, is a long room with areclining chairs. The music is very relaxing and the room is dimly, well barely lit. The temperature was just right.

The service/procedure - You are cocooned in the chair from chest to toe and then you discuss skin problems you may be having or what you would like to accomplish with your visit. You receive a thorough cleaning and then your skin is examined by a medical esthetician for a proper analysis. Then the treatment begins, perfectly tailored to your needs. They hold nothing back and the extractions were very gentle. Once the treatment was finished my skin felt amazing.

Bonus - Skinceuticals Products were suggested for your use but there was no push to buy anything at all.

It is now 4 days later and my skin looks better than it has in months. I will be back for regular treatments and I will be sending my friends.

Go with Pelleve - the new skin tightener. I paid 500 for 2 treatments and although I only see minimal improvement around my eyes (I couldn't handle the heat so I guess it's my fault) I did see REMARKABLE improvement in the lines around my mouth and cheeks (when I smile, those small long lines - hated that!!!). Actually, they are GONE!

Both treatments are said to last 12 months. Save your money on Thermage and go with Pelleve.

I have a fair complexion and was experiencing mild rosacea and enlarged pores. I tried topical treatment for the rosacea, prescribed by "myself", but felt that photophacial would be a more natural solution.(I'm not into taking medication when there's an alternative).

After just two photofacial sessions my skin was like porcelain. It was unbelievable. I also noticed decreased pore size. I was traveling to Buenos Aires at the time and boasted soft, even toned skin during my vacation.

The treatments were fairly comfortable. Each "zap" felt like a little rubber band being snapped on my skin...no big deal. This was 2 months ago, and my skin still looks fabulous.

Regarding the spa service, I disagree with the previous review. I received very professional service. The receptionist and cosmetician were polite, sweet and my overall experience was positive. I look forward to returning for more treatments and would recommend this spa to others without thinking twice.

I was really impressed with how I was treated at Allure being that I was coming in with a coupon deal for three treatments. (A lot of times spas put out coupon deals and then try to push other treatments on you or don't give you the same experience as they would other customers, but that was not at all the case here). Everyone from the receptionist to the treatment specialists were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The place is not huge but is set up very nicely, with a warm and relaxing feel. I'd definitely come back.

STAY Far Far Far AWAY - AWFUL COSTUMER SERVICE - RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!. This has got to be the WORST place I have ever been to in my entire life. I have never written a review, neither good or bad about any place but was so disgusted by my treatment here that I was compelled to write something. The disgusting, disrespectful, and obnoxious receptionist lady will not set up the right app ...

which need to be every week ....the place looks empty and she tell you they are fully booked???? Also they smoke right outside the door once you entrr inside ...you just need a drink...so you dont smell their smokey hands....Please Save Your TIME and nerves and money ....

Excellent service, VELASHAPE Really works. I have been coming to the center for about 2 years now and I have gotten the best service consistently summer after summer! location is great, the staff is very helpful and accommodating, rooms are nice and spacious and the appointments are always sharp on time! if you are considering cellulite treatment in Queens , this is the place to go to! highly recommended.

Facials here are the best. Thanks to the proliferation of group deal websites, I'm gradually becoming acquainted with NY spa offerings, and so far, Allure is hands-down my favorite of the bunch. is! It's clean and well-designed, efficient, reasonably priced (compared to some of the competition), calming, hard sometimes hard to get appointment's , and my facial with Carolina was GREAT.

STAY AWAY - AWFUL COSTUMER SERVICE - RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!. This has got to be the WORST place I have ever been to in my entire life. I have never written a review, neither good or bad about any place but was so disgusted by my treatment here that I was compelled to write something. The disgusting, disrespectful, and obnoxious receptionist lady is just appalling and the technician is no better. Anyone thinking of going here should promptly reconsider. I purchased a groupon for velashape and have since called groupon, made a complaint and requested it be elevated and received a refund. I called Allure on my way from the train, approximately 5 minutes after my appointment time and noone answered. I called again while walking to the place and explained that I was running late, apologized, and explained I was on my way. I got to the place approximately 10 minutes after my appointment time and the treatment I received was nothing less than despicable. As an initial matter the stupid receptionist insinuated that I was lying about calling and that there was someone there the entire time to answer the phone - despite the fact that I had proof on my phone that I called. I even tried to show her but she was uninterested. She was so incredibly rude that I could not imagine having any treatment there. She then told me that they would take time off of my treatment. I requested rescheduling because this initial experience started out so negative that I was physically shaking from being so upset. She explained that I would lose the appointment and it would be canceled. The technician (who I also think is the owner) was standing there the entire time and I asked if this is how they treat costumers and she just looked at me completely clueless. I asked if she was even licensed because the entire business seemed shady and unprofessional and she just nodded but I am certainly skeptical. While she never said anything rude or nasty like the receptionist, the fact that she stood there the entire time and let a customer/patient be treated like that makes her just as despicable. As a separate matter, another appointment was scheduled less than 30 minutes after mine which makes me think that they intended on doing a half ass treatment anyway. The only positive experience about this was that Groupon was really great about promptly refunding me my money. If anyone is interested in doing such treatments, I would recommend that they go to a place that is at least overseen by a doctor which would be a bit more legit and hopefully more professional. As for Allure - stay the heck away!!!
