DEMAND Lavinia for a brazilian wax !! THE best. GO HERE FOR A WAX! And make sure to request/demand LAVINIA.

I have been getting (brazilian) waxed for about 10 years --- always searching for the perfect wax. I have finally found it. The prices are more expensive than I have ever seen but absolutely, 100% worth every penny. Lavinia takes great care in her work and is the only person I have ever been to that takes care of every detail -- even extracting ingrown hairs.

I will never, ever, ever go anywhere else again in my life. Lavinia is THE best at what she does --- she really cares that her customers are happy and taken care of and that whatever area you are having waxed is in the most impeccable condition it has ever been.

Best Facial Ever. I splurged on the level 3 facial at Valley after seeing the amazing natural products they offer from Between You and the Moon and then getting to speak to to Emma (the person behind this awesome line of products). I was a little reluctant to go all out with this extensive treatment but so glad that I did. Emma told me that my face would change and it it certainly has. My face texture is smooth and clear and the regimen is alot simpler than what I had been doing before plus I love that everything is natural.I plan to go back as on as I can make it back to NY and have already placed an order to replenish all of my products again. Highly recommended.

My Face Said "Thank You". The first time I went to Valley I got a facial from Emma. It was my first facial ever and it felt great. She was so nice and delicate and well informed about all natural beauty/facial products. As soon as I got home I threw away all of my facial products that had "rocket fuel" in them-basically any ingredients you cannot pronounce. I started using Emma's homemade products and from then on my face has looked and felt great. In fact I swear I heard my face say "thank you" when I first put on her moisturizer. I have since been back and encourage anyone who's interested in using products that are nice to your skin to do so as well.

Best Waxing Hands Down!. Valley took care of me after my first waxing experience, which was a totally botched job, and had my naughty bits looking better in just a matter of minutes. ive gone there a few times since and have received stellar treatment, but i recently tried another salon because i received a discount coupon. needless to say, i was completely mortified by the service at this other place. i should have known to not mess with a good thing! Valley is the ONLY place ill go for waxing from here on out.

Can't get my mani/pedi anywhere else. I can't get my nails done anywhere other than Valley. Even if I need to come into the city from BK on a Sunday, I do it. Once you've had a dry manicure (meaning, you don't sit with your fingers in a bowl of oddly colored water) there's no turning back! I always leave Valley with perfect fingers and toes (What cuticles?! I have calluses?!) that last longer than any other mani/pedi I've had. And if this weren't enough, Valley is just a great place to sit for an hour.

Best Wax Experience in New York City. A Valley wax is by far the best wax experience I've had in the city. I'd travel anywhere for a wax like this. Is virtually painless, which is saying a lot given how truly painful most bikini waxes are. The new digs on Elizabeth street are cozy and warm, it makes an otherwise very unpleasant experience very pleasant.

Just perfect!. Great facial…beautiful natural products juxtaposed with the formulator, who also happens to be a skilled facialist in a great setting…I wanted EVERYTHING in the store!

Good nail art,but it can be had elsewhere for less.. I had my nails done there once, with an application of nail art. The nail tech did an incredible job, but after getting comparable work done at another salon (Sakura nail), I'm afraid I won't be going back to Valley. Sakura's prices for nail art were half of what Valley charged me. Now whether this would always be the case is hard to say, as I got the distinct sense that Valley's charges for nail art are fluid...or rather that the owner just comes up with a random dollar amount.

Prior to my getting the nail art done I'd specifically asked how much it would be if I wanted "say...a little flower and a few crystals on my nail". The owner's reply was (something like) "oh, well depending on whether you select the small or the large crystals, and the amount of stones that is put on each nail, it could be BETWEEN $3-9 per nail."

When my manicure was finally complete and I went to the desk to pay, she said (in a nice way) "...let me see your nails..." and then quoted me a price. The charge for the nail art alone was $26...this was to get a 3-D flower applied to two nails, and to get some stones added to three nails. Compare that to Sakura, where I got a hand-painted flower and vine design on TWO nails, and crystals applied to FOUR nails, for the price of $15. So I got almost the same degree of nail art work done at Sakura, for almost half the price of Valley.

At Sakura I was also offered tea, while nothing was offered at Valley....
