NYC's greatest Spa Boutique!!!. LONGEST lasting mani- ever! This coming from a girl who usually sees chips that same day is a BIG deal. The owners are super down to earth so it's a laid-back, cozy spot always full of cool girls with whom I always seem to spark up fun convo. Great services and atmosphere to boot- what more could you ask for?! Well, speaking of boot, definitely check out the

vintage by Portia & Manny who shares the store- yay Valley, good move!

Hands down best wax and nails. THE CORRECT PHONE NUMBER IS 212-274-8985 - I HAD TO SEARCH FOR THE NUMBER BC CITYSEARCH HAS IT WRONG. I am not the type to spend my time writing these kinds of reviews, but this place is awesome!! My friends kept telling me to get a brazilian at Valley, but i have been loyal to my waxer forever, so it took me a while. Now my only regret is that i didn't take their advice sooner - Valley use the best hard wax and they LISTEN to exactly what you want (ie the shape etc ;-). I go there for my nails now too - their mani/pedi may be more expensive than the corner salon, but it lasts 3 times as long!! I seriously have to get sick of the color to get my nails done again -it is so thorough, and with the cheapy corner salons you need another mani in two days, so i say check out Valley!

Best Wax, Nails, Shopping EVER!. OK, I have been getting waxed and nailed for years, but this is the best I have ever had in both categories! This place is a total find. I had read about them a few times on Daily Candy, Lucky and several other places, so decided to make the trek from the UWS to the LES to see what all the hype was about. SO worth it. The Brazilian Wax I had was truly the best ever, and I've done it all over the world. The wax was gentle and the technician was calming and meticulous. Then I got my nails done and no joke, my manicure lasted over a week! Not even a chip! I went back the next time and treated myself to the Japanese nail art that they do there, and it was amazing, like a full on art exhibit on my nails...so awesome. Oh, and did I mention the clothing is fantastic...For real, this place is so great - get there. Oh, and a side note, it is owned by two sisters who were so hospitable, and they have both been there every time I"ve gone, so not only do I always feel welcome (they greet me by name) I know this place is well taken care of.

Nearly Painless Waxing, Friendliest Staff. Started going to Valley just a few months ago for a bare Brazilian hard wax. I was the first appointment on a Saturday, and was there a bit earlier than expected. Even though the door was still locked, I was welcomed in by one of the owners, and told that it would just be a few minutes for them to get set up. This gave me time to peruse the great jewelry and clothing that are housed in the front of the shop. When time, I was led down to the waxing rooms and met the technician who is more knowledgeable in her craft than any I have met thus far. We chatted through the entire appointment, and I was surprised that it was all over so quickly, and much less painfully than my past experiences. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, once you go I cannot imagine not wanting to go back.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Sisters Nina and Julia Werman are well on their way to making their homey shop--on a stretch of Orchard Street long overdue for a makeover--a destination for in-the-know shoppers, with an all-encompassing philosophy that brings women's clothing, spa services (nails and waxing) and Brazilian snacks under one roof. The comfortable, 2,500-square-foot space with warm accents like cork floors, potted plants and a rocking chair-equipped lounge is home to feminine steetwear from labels such as Mike + Chris, Sass + Bide and Sweet Tater.
