If you're looking for a miracle worker, look no further! Dr. Stroess-Allen is an exceptional orthodontist. For most of my adult life, I've avoided smiling in pictures because I was ashamed of my teeth. After several horrific experiences with other dentists, I made an appointment with Park Avenue Orthodontics. The staff was extremely kind and Dr. Stroess-Allen could not have been more helpful. She took me step-by-step through her plan of action, answered all my questions, and addressed all my concerns honestly. It's been less than a year since I got my braces but my teeth have improved dramatically. I look and feel like a new person. I smile all the time now and can't wait to see what I'll look like in a few months when my braces come off. Thank god for Dr. Stroess-Allen and her incredible team at Park Avenue Orthodontics. They literally changed my life for the better.

Great Orthodontist but I always get her techs. Dr. Stoess-Allen is a great orthodontist but every time I come in I never see her. Instead the majority of procedures and visits are spent with her techs. $150 for a tech to check to see if my permanent retainer is in fine in less than 5 minutes? No thank you. I think its time to find a new orthodontist who I actually get the pleasure of seeing. Did I mention the tech was also the one who placed both of my permanent retainers which run around $500(but not well!)? Some teeth have more bond on them than others and as a results I always feel like the teeth with far less bond on them are attached via a broken permanent retainer.

Insulting. Incredibly rude staff. No, thank you.. I wish I could have had the pleasure to meet Dr. Stoess-Allen. Unfortunately I was not able to go beyond the initial telephone conversation with "Treatment coordinator" Dana.

On the phone I was informed that the initial consultation would be $250. So far so good. As I am a transfer patient and I recently started my orthodontic treatment in the UK, I already have x-ray records which I do not wish to be retaken again without a reasonable need for it. I was informed in the rudest manner they could not use other doctor's x-rays and that if I did not want to take them I would not be able to be a patient there. No asking questions such as how old my records are or what type of x-ray I have or leaving any open possibilities made me feel like I was talking to a record play machine that treats everyone equally without listening to what you have to say. Furthermore, I personally do not think it is safe practice to request x-rays in a mindless way.

All this after reading in their website: 'Talk to our treatment coordinator Dana. She will make you completely comfortable answering all your questions'. Well, she made me feel completely uncomfortable and more.

A real shame to lose the chance to be treated by an orthodontist with what otherwise seem excellent reviews.

Best Orthodontist Ever!. I never imagined my teeth to look as perfect as they do now. Not only was Dr. Stoess-Allen such a perfectionist when it came to the look of my teeth, she also helped to alleviate my TMJ symptoms! I can't believe that the jaw pain I have felt for the past 30 years of my life has disappeared! Dr. Stoess-Allen and her team truly are the best.

joanna k.. great experience. I have searched for so long good orthodontist who could help me with my teeth. Dr. Janet was the only one that understood my problem and who did not suggest to pull any teeth in order to get my teeth straight. I also like the fact that the office is small and it does not feel like a fcactory. She takes her time during every visit to evaluate your progress. I recommend it to everybody!

Couldn't be happier with the results!. I couldn't be happier with the results Dr. Stoess-Allen was able to achieve in such a short period of time. During our initial consultation she explained very clearly the entire procedure. I felt very comfortable and decided to go ahead with it the same day. One year later I could not believe how great my teeth looked. She not only corrected the imperfections that I was dealt from "mother nature" but also the mistakes made by the previous doctor. My confidence in Dr. Stoess-Allen grew greatly as my teeth started to shift almost immediately after the braces were on. She was able to change my bite as well as fight a crowded mouth while filling the spaces from previous extractions made by the first doctor. The end result was a perfect smile. I still cant believe it when I look in the mirror. I think Dr. Stoess-Allen is amazing professionally and personally! I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Stoess-Allen to the rescue!!!. I’ll never forget the first day I stepped into Dr. Stoess-Allen’s office. I was in a lot of pain, feeling very discouraged with challenging TMJ issues. Over the last three years, her amazing knowledge on TMJ and highly customized and precise treatment plan helped to get my jaw and teeth in a “harmonious” and comfortable position. Although we faced many challenges along the way, she never gave up hope. Her persistence, confidence and caring nature helped to alleviate my fears and frustration and get me through. And now, three years later, the braces are off and my bite and jaw are in a great place – not to mention I have a fabulous new smile. When I think about the important qualities I look for in a doctor, I’m lucky enough to have found them all in Dr. Stoess-Allen. Thank you Dr. Stoess-Allen! I greatly appreciate all you’ve done for me!

I am Pain Free!. A few years ago I had such jaw pain I couldn’t even chew my food and could barely open my mouth. I was hopeless and depressed after seeing local dentists and orthodontists who were unable to help me, though they tried. I was referred to Dr. Zane, a neuro-muscular dentist as a last hope for some relief from the pain in my jaw. I was immediately relieved to hear him speak of a pain free existence. He referred me to Dr. Stoess-Allen for my orthodontic care. I felt from the day I met her that I was in the right hands. She took as much time as I needed to explain the process and understood my reservations about having braces as an adult. She too talked about a time when I would be pain free. After years of pain I knew there was really no option but to try this treatment.

Amazingly from the day the braces were on I was free from jaw pain! I could once again eat and chew. I felt hopeful for the first time in years that this could work. Now, a year after my braces were removed I am totally pain free! My teeth are straight, aligned and my bite is comfortable. I attribute this to Dr. Stoess Allen and her wonderful, supportive staff. They have been understanding, caring, and compassionate throughout my treatment process. If you have lived with daily pain, you can imagine that I am more than happy to give these well-deserved accolades Dr. Stoess Allen!

A Very Special Place. I was referred to Dr. Stoess-Allen by some friends of mine who just started treatment at Park Avenue Orthodontics. I went to two other orthodontic consults with other doctors, finally when my son and I met Dr. Stoess-Allen and her staff we found the right fit for us. The doctor is really knowlegable and explained everything about my son's treatment plan. Staff is caring and very friendly. My son really enjoyed the office. I would definitely recommend this office, they don't miss a thing! If you don't like that "factory feeling" this is the office for you!

If you need Orthodontic Treatment this is the place. As an adult, I was hesitant about getting braces, but when I came to the office of Dr. Stoess-Allen she explained everything so well to me. How long I will be in braces for? The kind of braces that I could choose from. It made me really confident in my decision. After 12 months of wearing braces. My smile is perfect!
