Editorial Review for Supermac – by Kathleen Squires

In Short
Swooping into the garment district like a comfort-food superhero, this hiply outfitted, brightly colored storefront serves up mac-and-cheese mixes from the homey (four cheese, with cheddar, asiago, mozzarella and Parmigiano-Reggiano) to the highbrow (lobster Thermidor, with lobster chunks, brie and mascarpone). There's even a low-fat variety among the dozen choices. All are served with or without breadcrumbs in two sizes, the mini mac and the mega mac. Mac-and-cheese nuggets and crispy linguine continue the noodle-y theme.

I can't agree more with everyone else on their reviews---the mac n cheese is a winner here! The Mac Burger and Lobster Mac add a slight twist to the normal childhood staple. The French Onion Mac was a lil dry but the gruyere and carmelized onions were a nice touch. If I have a craving for mac n cheese, this is the place I'd go. Btw, the deserts are good here!

Pros: fabolouso

Cons: tiny, get a bigger store

All I want to do right now is go back to New York and get some more of their MAC N CHEESE! I found the dishes to be fresh and delicious. You actually can see the chef make your mac and cheese, but how come i cant make it like that at hum. So, when you are in New York be sure to stop by have a taste and bring some back home with you- because you will crave them!

Cons: long wait
