Our Epic Night At The Greenwich Treehouse. When you begin a night of barhopping you do so on the premise of getting really drunk with a group of friends. However, deep down inside you truly hope to discover a bar so incredible that you never need to barhop again. After wondering into the Greenwich Treehouse this Saturday night our days of barhopping are behind us. The bartenders were as awesomely available and personable as you can ever hope for. When we got hungry we found out we could order food in. Honestly I feel the need to give this place a great review because of how incredible it was but I still deeply fear other people discovering it and it then losing it's charm.

All kinds of awesome. The Treehouse is an adorable pub, a quaint step up from a dive. The front is a wall of windows that in warmer months open up to peer out on to Greenwich Ave.

Monday night trivia - cash prize. Losers get a round of free shots. Trivia participants get two for one drinks.

They've also got a Wii.

The front room offers plenty of seating for those wanting to take a load off, or who wore impractical footwear.

Free Wi-Fi and Mac power connections.

The back room offers two fun finds - a faux fireplace that doesn't look like it came from "Bob's Furniture".

And then over to the left, you will find a tiny little enclave, with great wood doors, intimate seating, and a window.

Now, although they don't serve food - just ask the bartender and they will hand you a bucket full of menus and have your grub delivered.

You did afterall score that table by the "fireplace" and don't want to give that up.

I love this place. I love the Treehouse! My friends and I come here all the time for happy hour! It is so much fun. The always have awesome movies playing on their projector. Last time I was there they were playing Teenwolf, my favorite 80's movie of all time!! Great drink specials, cool people, Teenwolf.....Whats not to like???

Great place for a Beer. I met some friends downtown for Happy Hour after work, because I wanted to have a relief from the daily stress of work and partake in some drinking.

The Greenwich Treehouse happy hour started at 5pm when the first football game of the day started...they only seem to get crowded about an hour before the the Happy Hour begins.

The bartender was pretty cool...he's like a slimmed down Seth Rogen. He'll have a drink with you and carry a pleasant conversation.

The layout of the bar is interesting, with some high stools by the bar, and a cool section up front in the window overlooking Greenwich Ave. There is a secret room in the far back corner that my friends started calling the "boom boom" room. It seats about 6 people comfortably, and there is no television in that room, but there is a window overlooking the backyard. There's also a really cool "back room" with a long table surrounded by chairs and a giant TV over a non-working fireplace. This is where we hung out...it's about three steps to the bar and three steps to the bathroom and three steps to the video games. It was the perfect room.

This bar is awesome in my book for one main reason: Connect Four. When you have no interest in sports on the tv, its' really fun to play a game or two of Connect Four (with friends or strangers). See how alcohol affects your strategy.

I really liked the Greenwich Treehouse, and I'd go back, but even at 5:30pm on a Thursday, it was pretty crazy. Maybe it's the fellowship with the co-workers that makes this place a blast for happy hour

BEAT THE CLOCK AWESOMENESS. I've never seen beat the clock in the city until I found this place. I used to beat the clock down the shore when I was in college, but this is even better because the beer selection is unlimited for the same price. You can get very happy for happy hour with less than $20. I leave work early on Thursdays as often as I can to make it for this special. 5-6PM $1 Beers (any kind) 6-7PM $2, 7-8PM $3. Amazing dive bar and a great place to hang out with friends and blow off steam after work.

Great music, chill feel. I love this bar. The bar is really tall so I felt like a little kid. I strolled into this place to chill out and meet new people after being stuck in alot of pretentious places which I wont name, the feel of this place is whatever goes. My experience there consisted of people hanging out befriending new people at the bar, and also people going crazy and dancing to the good selection of music. There was a flip cup tournament in the back room and they were playing "Wedding Crashers"' on a big projection screen,which is one of my favorite recent movies. At one point there was a tennis match of nintento Wii. As the night went on it got more crowded and I had to meet up with someone so I left ( I reallly wanted to stay and chat it up with my new drunk buddies lol) but I will defenetely go back!!!

Beer/food menu, small but good. Friendly relaxed place.. The first nice day of spring and the place is empty. Good! That's the way we like it. We start in the front, but as the group grows, we move to a private room in the "library" in the back. Beer and other drinks have to be ordered from the bar. The beer selection is minimal, but includes draft Kilian Red and Blue Moon. Food (a small menu with decent quesadilla and a very good "Rachel" hummus plate) is delivered to your table. Too bad, because the bartender caught a couple of us smoking cancer sticks by the open window in back. No big deal though. Just stub it out and go outside. Despite the catch, the 'tender remained friendly the whole night. The few other patrons were pal-sy, talking with us, and just bein' cool. It's a great place to relax, drink and talk. What more do you want from a bar? --Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NYC drinkers

Check This Place Out!. I used to go to Caffe Dell Artista before it closed and became the Greenwich Treehouse. At first I was so disappointed because this was my favorite west village cafe. After Greenwich Treehouse opened, I think it's beend a little over a year now, I went by to check it out.....WOW.....to my surprise they kept the 'look and feel' of Caffe Dell Artista. The furniture was held over from the cafe, now a bar (and a very cool one at that) they still maintained the charm that made this place work so well. Greenwich Treehouse has become a regular spot for me and I highly recommend stopping by and having a drink...this is a very cool place!

A second-floor funhouse for a seasonal drink and gaming.. In Short
Looking out over Greenwich Avenue, this family-owned bar, in keeping with its name, is dressed in green and brown with a few painted trees serving as decor. The small stage sees a lot of action, from stand-up comics to random dancing. Other amenities include a digital jukebox and arcade games like Big Buck Hunter, Nintendo Wii, Guitar Hero and flip cup, with various nights devoted to tournaments. The highly social set of regulars will vouch for seasonal drinks like the pumpkin pie martini and invite you to join along in whatever they're doing.

Hits: Addicted to Facebook? Greenwich Treehouse offers free WiFi and a communal computer in the front of the bar.

Misses: With such a hopping clientele, some of the shabby furniture could use an upgrade.

As cliche as it sounds...The village's best kept secret.. My sister used to love Caffe Dell Artista. When struggling for a place to hang out after work, I had heard it became a bar, so I suggested my co-workers and I see what became of the old place...

We were not disappointed. The place is really chill, blending the old Caffe atmosphere into a really cool bar, and it's got a little something for everybody. The front is an overlook of Greenwich Street. The middle is your classic bar. In the back is a room with more tables for a group get together, and in the very back is a private sitting room.

The menu is pretty limited, but feel free to bring outside food with you - Wogies is right across the street. Be careful about eating at the bar, it might cost you a couple waffle fries.

Last, but not least, the owner of the bar works there much of the time, and he cares about his business, so unless you're never satisfied, you're going to be satisfied.
