my man is sexier than ever. He told me that he was going to check out this new barbershop recently and I was concerned. Ever since we've been dating I took him to my salon. To my surprise it was the best hair cut I've seen on him! He really enjoyed the experience! They were quick and to the point but have the artistic talent needed. I strongly recommend this for any guy either for his own needs or to impress a certain someone!

unhappy. I went to this place after being told that it was the best barbershop in New York.

I was unhappy from the very start. Ivon cut my hair. He would not listen to me,He told me the way I wanted my haircut was wrong, and cut it the way he wanted. and I had to go to another barber shop to get it fixed.

I would not suggest going here

Best Haircuts, Great Experience. I highly recommend this shop. I have followed one of the barbers for years from Astor Place to Brooklyn, back to the city. This is the best place he has worked for. This isn't a cheap convenient Supercuts, if you care how your hair looks, if you want to find a barber / stylist you can trust then I suggest you try this spot. The price is reasonable and the staff is always nice and helpful. They don?t accept appointments, and even though they are always busy, I?ve rolled in at different times and never waited more than 10 minutes. The clothes and suits are stylish and a rare find.

longest haircut ever. Between reading and hearing word of mouth about Freeman's Sporting Club, I thought I would give it a try.

walking in the staff was very polite and responsive, they answered all my questions. clothes wear great.

I didn't have the same luck with the barber Ivan, he took forever to cut my hair, and when he was done it was( a good cut) BUT not what I had asked for. Maybe he was to busy talking about himself and how bad my last cut was or he just did not listen to my needs, either way my haircut took over an hour and I left unhappy.

Over all, I like the store, I will return to shop in the store and I may return to try another barber.

My favourite suit. Just bought a suit at Freemans Sporting club . I have to say I think it has to be the best suit I have ever owned . The whole experience was top notch , from the tailor who fitted down to the guy who helped me through the process. I have only three words for the whole experience - Excellent Excellent excellent !.As for the suit its quality is truly stunning .

My Favorite Store in the ENTIRE WORLD. This may sound like an overstatement, but I promise you it is not. Lets review shall we? Custom hand made suits, shirts, casual blazers, great hair cuts and STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVES with no salon B.S., all antiques including light fixtures are actually for sale, awesome mocasins, brooks saddles, black leathermen (the pocket knives, of course, not an S&M dungeon). Really amazing. Go in, write your name on the chalkboard, try on some clothes and shoes, get your name called and head back for a haircut and shave, come back out and get whatever fit right, leave an incredibly satisfied, practically enlightened man. Was in Freemans for Lunch on a Wednesday, stopped in the store, ended up hanging out there till closing. Met an old guy Red who asked me some riddles, got some grips for my bike, an old kris kristoferson record, 2 button downs, one of the best haircuts in my life. Man I love that place.

STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE---Too Bad..... Was excited to have an "old school" barber place in the 'hoot but was sadly dissapointed with the haircut I recieved. Have had A MUCH BETTER barber cut at several of the FOR REAL barber shops in an daround the Lower East Side and at 50 bucks a pop (including tip) one would expect something a little above average, not below.

Though rusticly edgey and trendily appointed with lots of mannish / lodgish charm it's sort of misses in delivering the product. The staff too is charming enough!

Was someshat dissapointed with the clothing and I REALLY wanted to like this place. Shirts are made in nice fabrications yet with moderate eye for detail and cut. The suits were not well cut or finishied at all with very shlocky details. You would be much better served rooting around J. Press or Brooks Brothers for something to transgress against and mix into your Williamsburg wardrobe.

IN GENERAL ---- look but don't buy and find an older barber who knows the score.

sew amazing!. I'm your typical guy who hates to shop. Most stores for guys seem like they were designer by Sanjia, or while parting all night in South Beach. The arrival of Freemans Sporting Club into the wasteland of New York shoping, is like when Michael J. Fox went back to the future and took charge! Basically, this store and barbershop are exactly what I've always wanted in a store. Great quality handmade clothes, great relaxed vibe and helpful staff. It my new Peach Pit.

Great Atmosphere, Even Better Haircut. I went to Freeman's for a haircut and was extremely impressed with the atmosphere, quality of customer service, and the cut itself. $40 is more than I usually spend, but it was the best cut I have had in years and I definately plan to go back. The old-school atmosphere, from the chairs to the decorations, is very impressive, and they add in unique touches like a warm towel for your face afterward. The only complaint I could possibly have is that they don't use a straight razor on your neck like many italian places. The electric razor just doesn't do a good enough job. I probably could have asked for it, and will try this next time. Definately will return.
