I heard about this service on the local news and decided to try it. I don’t have a lot of time to shop so usually I know where I’m going in advance and then get in and out quickly. What’s great about this is that based on descriptions of the stores and sales text-messaged to me, I could decide where to go, in a given neighborhood. I learned about stores I probably never would have tried otherwise and because of the sales info, picked up cool things I might not have discovered otherwise. This service made shopping an adventure for me. It reminded me how fun it can be to explore but with help, a guide. Thanks to the MyShoppie folk.

I had relatives in town who love to shop, but I'm not a big shopper and couldn't really give them the "inside scoop." So we used MyShoppie and it was absolutely great. All we had to do was text message where we were, like "midtown" or sometimes a street address (like "57 & 5 ave"), and they'd send us a list of stores who were having sales... right to my cell phone....and the best part was that all the stores were within 10 blocks of where we were standing. It's a very cool service, especially because it's free. Needless to say, we found out about some great sales and I actually enjoyed it. Thanks!
Pros: Easy to use. Get "insider" sales info within walking distance.
Cons: None!
