Horrible experience – I came here for a mani, pedi, and a back massage. Someone had given me a gift card for the mani and pedi including tips. Things were fine until it was time to pay. I showed them my gift card and told them I'd pay for the massage separately. They charged my credit card $10 less than what they were supposed to charge me because they said that I have a $10 balance on my gift card. Then later on they told me that I owe them $10 because they forgot the tip was on the gift card. The person behind the counter just came to me with a charge slip for credit card for a new amount ($10 plus whatever they had charged me before). She just said that she adjusted the amount charged without showing me any paperwork. And when I asked if she double charged me, she just rudely said no and that she just adjusted the amount without showing me any proof. So after this fiasco, the girl who was helping me with the manicure and pedicure told me that someone else will be giving me my massage AFTER I had already tipped her. Then after my massage (by another person), the girl behind the counter came up to me and basically told me I need to tip this other girl. When I told her I had intended for the tip to be included in the amount I had already paid, she told me that the girl who had helped me previously doesn't work there usually and she left already and I was forced to tip this other girl. It was a completely horrible experience. On top of that, I later realized that I chipped the paint on my nails by going into my wallet to get money for this extra tip!!! Completely annoying. With so many nail salons in the area, there's no way I would ever go back to this place again!
Fantastic Mani/Pedi! – I went with a few friends and they were large enough to take us all at the same time, which was super convenient for a Saturday afternoon. The staff was nice and courteous. Also, every single one of us loved our manicures and pedicures....the polish lasted far longer than any other place including the spas we've been to.
DON'T GO!! – WHAT AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! A ripoff! Unpersonal and awful, my friend had to go to another place and get her nails redone an hour later! What a joke!!
Bright New York spa chain is more than just a nail salon. – In Short
This bright spa chain may look like just another spot for a quick polish change. But past the rows of manicure stations, pedicure tubs and black leather massage chairs are private rooms that host facials, waxings, massages and exotic body wraps--even microdermabrasion and oxygen therapy. The convenience is further increased with 30-minute express facials ($40), which include steaming, deep cleansing, a face massage and mask.
